Trump: Why I may have to go to war with Cruz...GOP front-runner puts Texas senator on notice

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump just put rival Ted Cruz on notice: Get too hot and I'll have to take you down.

Describing the senator from Texas as "nice and supportive," Trump told CNBC’s "Squawk Box" on Monday that the two candidates have similar ideas on many of the issues, including border security and the need for a wall to keep out illegal immigrants.

"[But] If he catches on, I guess we'll have to go to war," Trump said of Cruz, who's seen a bit of a bump nationally and in the early contest states of Iowa and New Hampshire since last week's Republican debate.

Trump is who I will vote for! I like Cruz, but I believe Trump will be the Republican nominee! We need Trump at this time in our Nation's history. There is no time for on-the-job training! We need a bold leader!!! GO TRUMP!

Agree wholeheartedly.

It’s amazing that a conservative forum does not in large part embrace the conservatives in the race.

They think Trump is more electable, I believe, and are willing to overlook all else.

It is still too early to tell. Remember, this is politics. It can turn on a dime and it is still a long time till election.
As I have said, I'm for Cruz. He's my first choice. I have campaigned for him.
BUT
I like the way Trump is shaking things up.
AT this point in time I will say I will Vote for the one who gets the nomination be it Cruz or Trump.

I'm not convinced Trump will please us all the time. I do think he'll do some things that are long overdue.

1. Immigration
2. Jobs
3. National Debt
4. Rebuild our Military
5. Take care of our Vets
6. Return Obamacare to the private sector

He's seems fairly driven on these issues. I expect to see some good things on each.

If he does that he'll have been one of our best presidents ever.

After the events in Paris on 11/13, I will be adding
this to my posts for the next week. I'm certain our
turn is coming again soon. We stand united against
Islamic extremists.
