Rep. Steve King (R-IA) is endorsing GOP presidential candidate Sen. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), because King says Cruz "is the answer to my prayers, a candidate whom God will use to restore the Soul of America."
Having served Iowans for decades, King said endorsing a presidential candidate is a "rare opportunity, therefore, cannot be squandered."
"It has become a great, great privilege, as the dean of the Iowa Congressional Delegation, to get to know each of the 17 original Republican candidates for president, both professionally and personally," King stated in a press release.
I count many, if not all, as friends, as colleagues, and as fellow warriors in the political arena. At no time in the history of the United States has any party fielded such an array of extraordinarily talented candidates, each of whom would be clearly a better choice for president than Hillary Clinton.
"Our nation is sick and getting sicker," King stated, explaining that the country has been divided by the Obama Administration.

Archbishop José Gomez says that bringing in more Hispanics—who vote 80% pro-abortion—will restore the soul of America.
The representative is right and the archbishop wrong.
Constitutional Conservatism is the only true conservatism.
Excellent!
Why can’t they restore their own souls in their third world dumps? And why don’t they raise the age of consent over the age of 12, at least to the age of 16? That would go a long way to civilizing some of these countries. Are they Christian or what? Having such a low age of consent does not protect young girls from the scavengers that are around and creates an expectation that sex is something that should be experienced at the youngest age possible. It lowers the moral standards for the whole country which is the cause of much of the social and political dysfunction.
Archbishop Jose Gomez, of Los Angeles, formerly of San Atonio wouldn’t ever be archbishop of Milwaukee or DC. He’s not about being an American first or even a Catholic first.
That said, he was born and raised, as his comrade, Garcia-sillier, Arcbshp of San Antonio, In a foreign country and is therefore not even allowed by any standard to comment,as a public figure, on our laws
I the first place the catechism clearly and succinctly states that no country should give of itself nor destroy itself for refugees
Love King. Love Cruz. Go Trump.
This sounds yuge.
Go Ted!
His endorsement of Ted Cruz is equally spectacular in its eloquence and importance to Iowans, especially to Christian conservatives. Having followed Ted's actions closely for 12 years now in his writings and speeches, long before he was elected to the U.S. Senate, I'm in complete agreement with Rep. King. God Bless Steve King and Ted Cruz.
