Make him talk. Put his balls between book ends and make him sing like a canary, time is of the essence.

This was just routine traffic check. Just imagine how much weaponry gets through Europe's open borders.

The next sentence not included in the excerpt is key:

The navigation system in his car was programmed for Paris, leading to speculation that he intended to take part in Friday's attacks, which killed more than 120 people.

Naw, he was just an innocent traveler minding his own business. Surely, Merkel has released him and set him up in a nice German family's house.

Certainly a possibility, though Paris was also the location of the Charlie Hebdo attack. Given that this attack was successful — getting out alive wasn’t part of this op — Paris proved to be a vulnerable target even given the recent Charlie Hebdo murders. The “unhit” targets would give insight into other potential types of targets by the Muslims.

Seems to me that getting captured was not an option for them but some of the killers may have escaped and be on the loose.
