Since the University of Missouri’s president resigned over race relations earlier this week, students have continued holding protests on campus.
The protests lead to controversy over a professor’s attempts to stifle press in a public campus space.
Today, CNN host Don Lemon spoke on the Tom Moyner Morning Show (per Mediaite), expressing his issue with how the university has handled the First Amendment:
“…The only issue, the only issue I have with what happened at the University of Missouri is their vigorous effort to squash freedom of speech and freedom of the press. And as a journalist that really bothers me because this is a very, very dangerous road that no one should want to go down.†Lemon continued:
“So let me be extremely clear here. Students should be safe from physical harm and threats anywhere, especially on college campuses. But they should not be coddled by retreating into so-called safe spaces because they’re afraid of having their feelings hurt. If you’re afraid of having your feelings hurt, don’t leave your house.†Listen to the interview below:

Lemon also discussed how social media has “given people a different idea†of free speech and journalism. The CNN host appeared on the same morning show on Tuesday, according to Mediaite, voicing his support for the University football players who worked to oust the school’s president.
He is just afraid of the purges as the monsters they created gain power.
Gee.....betcha the tolerant and compassionate universities will outfit minority safe places w/ their very own water fountains, bathrooms and maybe even their own lunch counters (/snix).

Interesting how they desperately want “safe spaces” ... and are willing to DESTROY anyone who “interferes” in any way whatsoever.
Never mind that they’re totally opposed to anyone else having “safe spaces” of their own, and who tries to create a “space” that’s “safe” from them...(BSA, I’m scowling at you).

Not really. He seems to be objecting that the mob got in the face of one of his fellow journalists (i.e., 'it could have been him').
He supported all of the other whiny actions - including the threatened boycott by the Football team, and the attack on the College President because he apparently was not sympathetic enough to someone's hurt feelings.

Normally the mainstream media is pretty much supportive of leftist anarchists, as with the OWS pigs and piglets.
But this time around the anarchists’ are stomping on free speech and that gets a little too close to the media’s bread and butter.
Could this be the event that causes a rift to develop between the MSM and the left?.

In case they are looking for an alternative: They can find their safe space in a place where the sun don't shine.
These ‘precious snowflakes’ who want their ‘safe space’ need to be SLAPPED HARD on both sides of the head and explained to them that they are NOT special.
Of course, instead of actually getting the point, they’d probably just curl up on the ground into the fetal position and jam their thumbs in their mouths.
Don Lemon is hands down the greatest comedian of our time. When there is a fake riot or a lame blizzard Don is at his absolute best! Quick, film this burning trashcan! = comedy gold
