Re: “I have the sense that when Cruz flips he stays flipped.”

I hope you are right.

But I seriously doubt he has the personal passion and political conviction to make a difference on this issue.

And he still favors increasing the number of Green Cards (1.25 million) and new citizens (750,000) each year.

Even if he somehow wins the White House in 2016, 4 more years of those insane immigration policies means he would be lucky to carry Texas in 2020.

There stems the reason for bringing in these legal immigrants. To boot to the curb the high salary 50-65 year old engineers that made things happen.

I suspect kabar will agree with this 100% - I know I do.

Thank you very much for the article.

Reminds me of a short story.

I worked as a safety design engineer (SIL 3) for a petrochemical company. A small design firm that did design/drafting for us were going to hire 6 Pakis on H1B. The VP was a semi-friend of mine. I warned him DO NOT do this. He raved on the money he would save and with us being 3 hour drive from Houston good design/drafters were hard to find.

Well, I told him they would be at his company for maybe a month. Sure enough almost to the day and POOF they were gone to Houston with out a word. I said you are responsible for them, whatcha going to do.

I let it drop and was glad they were gone.
