Egypt Plane Crash: Evidence Points to Inside Job

New evidence in the investigation of the Russian airliner that crashed in Egypt indicates an inside man may have helped to plant an explosive device on board, aviation security officials told ABC News.

Investigators today will be scrutinizing surveillance tape and employee records at Egypt's Sharm el Sheikh airport, from which the Russian jet took off, looking for a ramp worker who authorities say may have been recruited by ISIS to plant a bomb on the plane.

"ISIS may have concluded that the best way to defeat airport defenses is not to go through them but to go around them with the help of somebody on the inside," Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., who has received classified briefings on the investigation, said on ABC News' "This Week" Sunday.

American authorities told ABC News that electronic intercepts of ISIS, both before and after the crash, indicated that ISIS was in communication with someone at the airport.

The first hard evidence of a possible bomb was revealed this weekend by Egyptian officials who said the cockpit voice recorder, the CVR, captured a distinct but undetermined noise just before it stopped working.

"A noise was heard in the last second of the CVR recording," an Egyptian official said.

Duh. The only question is was the person working for ISIS or for the Russians to create a “Reichstag Fire”?

“ISIS may have concluded that the best way to defeat airport defenses is not to go through them but to go around them with the help of somebody on the inside”

Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out. What about every other airport in the world.

False flag? With what goal, so the Russians can justify intervening in Syria? Lame. Sometimes a cigar, is just a cigar.

Egypt Plane Crash: Evidence Points to Inside Job

I said this right off the bat. Now the Russians need to murder that specific ground crew which serviced that Jet, and then kill all their family members that can be identified.

Make future terrorists understand that when they plant bombs, all their family members will be killed.

When Sadat was hit around 1980, that was obviously an inside job, too much radicalism in a lot of those countries enable these things to happen.

I do think it was ISIS, but still, I wouldn’t put it past Putin to do something like that.

I continue to be amazed at the lack of reporting on any chemical analysis of the aircraft wreckage to support the bomb theory. I thought this was Standard Operating Procedure.

All the evidence I see is circumstantial. Where is the real physical evidence of a bomb?

And: If it was a missile launched by ISIS is there any chance that it could have been an American missile?

Did we leave that sort of weaponry in Iraq?

Would we help cover it up if we did?

Did I just miss the reports?
Anyone else think all of this is suspicious?

Isn’t ISIS going around with a video saying it was them?

I mean if you know a plane is going to blow up so you film it, that is pretty good proof they knew what was going to happen

Make future terrorists understand that when they plant bombs, all their family members will be killed.

They would view that as an incentive.

Their female family members, they don't care about; their male family members they think would be considered honorary jihadists, collecting virgins.

Nonsense. This isn't a theory. This experiment has already been performed, and the results were positive.

Unlike the approach the United States used to resolve the TWA crisis, however, the Soviets did not bother negotiating with Hezbollah through Nabih Berri, Lebanon's justice minister and leader of the Shiite Amal militia.

Instead, the KGB kidnapped a man they knew to be a close relative of a prominent Hezbollah leader. They then castrated him and sent the severed organs to the Hezbollah official, before dispatching the unfortunate kinsman with a bullet in the brain.

White house and DOJ suspect extreme right wing Americans, and Tea Party. Cite You Tube video threatening to “water the tree of liberty” if more gun control is pushed.

JAL 123 crashed not because of bad maintenance, but because of an improper repair to the rear bulkhead by Boeing.

I agree. Until bomb residue is discovered in the wreckage, structural failure must still be considered. I guess it doesn't take much of an explosion to peel open an aircraft, but..

Perhaps new bomb technology where there's no residue? Hmmm..

A Chain is only as strong as it’s weakest link.

True as ever.

Imagine that a Baggage Handler’s Family is kidnapped by ISIS. They tell him to plant a Bomb or his Family all Die a horrible Death. It could happen anywhere.

I agree. The Russians will never admit to it, though. That is the reason they have been fairly quiet while the US and France and Egypt claim to have all the answers.

Could be poor maintenance, but it would not surprise me if it was also a bomb, considering that part of the world, the Middle East.
