Trump bump: New 5-point poll lead over Carson
The Washington Examiner ^ | November 7, 2015 | By Curt Mills

Donald Trump has regained some ground lost to Dr. Ben Carson, Reuters' 5-Day Rolling Poll finds. Trump now leads Carson nationally, 27.7 percent to 22.2 percent.

Marco Rubio is now at 12.3 percent, still third place in the race. Ted Cruz is fourth, 8.6 percent.

Jeb Bush is fifth with 6.7 percent of national support. Carly Fiorina is sixth with 3.8 percent, but is currently beaten by "wouldn't vote," which registers 6.1 percent support.

Chris Christie (3.5 percent), Rand Paul (2.9 percent), John Kasich (2.9 percent), Mike Huckabee (2.8 percent), and Bobby Jindal (1.3 percent) round out the GOP candidates above 1 percent.

Christie and Huckabee were dropped Thursday from the main stage of next week's debate, while Kasich and Paul maintained their positions at the primetime debate. The organizers of that debate used an aggregation of polls to determine who would be included.

No wonder the GOPe machine and GOPe media are playing the ‘liberal media victim card’ to promote Ben Carson ahead of the debate.

National polls do not mean too much now and will certainly change after the first primaries in February.

True, but Trump is also leading in the state polls.

I watched a half hour of the Ben Carson uh Fox News Channel
today.

They are so over the top for him with the doctors segment used to promote Carson. Dr. Siegel sat down for a one or one interview with Carson, then at the top of the hour after that they lead with Carson putting him ahead of Trump’s SNL appearance.

Carson is the man the Republican Establishment wants to use to take down Trump. Then they will move their man in between a fragmented and split conservative vote...likely Rubio at this point.

And this liberal media victim angle is being played on Fox News and other GOPe media including talk shows and websites, in posts here on FR etc. etc. etc.

Deal breaker.

Ben Carson supports the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP)

http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2015/11/06/ben-carson-backs-white-houses-tpp-trade-deal/

Wall Street Journal
Nov 6, 2015

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson said Friday that he supports the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement negotiated by the White House - aligning himself more with the GOP’s establishment wing than with the social conservatives who have powered his campaign.

Mr. Carson’s backing of the 12-nation Pacific trade deal places him at odds with Donald Trump, his chief rival for support among anti-establishment Republicans. Mr. Carson had expressed skepticism about the TPP, saying in a June interview with the Huffington Post that he would not give President Barack Obama “fast-track” authority to negotiate the deal.

Now, a day after the White House posted the text of the TPP deal online, Mr. Carson’s campaign said Friday that he supports the final product.

Mr. Carson, spokesman Doug Watts said, “believes the agreement does help to level the playing field in key markets and is important to improve our ties to trading partners in Asia as a counterbalance to China’s influence in the region.” Mr. Watts said Mr. Carson is “now inclined to support TPP, with reservations.”

The good doctor’s candidacy was based on CHARACTER.
When embellishment of past records is discovered, it shoots down the very reason for the good doctor’s claim to CHARACTER.

Yep, that’s a deal breaker.

Personally, I wasn’t voting for Carson before the TPP revelation.

Has the good doctor ever witnessed a trade surplus with any cheap labor country? NAFTA has been a disaster for US jobs. WHy does the good doctor think even cheaper than Mexico wages in Vietnam will help US jobs?

Carson’s 15 minutes seems to have finally run its course. It will be interesting to see where his support goes...I think mostly Trump, but I may be wrong.

Then they will move their man in between a fragmented and split conservative vote...

If they're trying to sell Carson as a conservative, they're really barking up the wrong tree.

Doesn’t look like GOPe is fooling you one bit! You are seeing right through their smoke screen of promoting the good doctor to take down Trump.

“And this liberal media victim angle is being played on Fox News and other GOPe media including talk shows and websites, in posts here on FR etc. etc. etc.”

Even Mark Levine, who said on Friday...”Any Republican candidate who piles on Ben Carson when the leftist media is attacking him, is a candidate I can’t support. I’m going to check it out tonight after the show. I don’t play that game. We can support our candidates based on ideology, but we saw something at the last debate that was very important. Al the Republicans pulled together to push back against a media that is destroying this country. You don’t pile on in situations like this. So I’ll check it out myself and report back to you on Monday. And if I hear one of these damn Republican candidates throw in with the tyrannical left in trashing this man-it’s one thing to fight on issues, but to try and destroy his character- well then we’ll have to talk to that person on this program, won’t we?!”

If I had a brain problem I’d go to Dr. Carson (except now he’s retired). But we have a sick country and we need Trump.
