I still think he wants to impose a Dienbienphu on American arms in the Armpit, for instance, to honor Islam and the memory of Osama Bin Laden at America's direct expense.

I'm at a loss to understand why he appears to be taking a firm line toward Chinese invasions of freedom of the seas, however, so he's inconsistent.
