Colo. massacre: Gunman kills 3 strangers ‘like he was having a stroll in the park’

Halloween turned into a day of actual horror in Colorado Springs as the scenic city became the setting for a bloody and seemingly random shooting spree.

The normally festive holiday literally went up in flames Saturday morning when a 33-year-old man set his house ablaze and then stalked his neighborhood with a military-style rifle and pistol.

The gunman fatally shot three random people — including a passing bicyclist as he begged for his life — before dying in a shootout with police that left downtown Colorado Springs covered in shattered glass, bullet casings and crime scene cordons.

Ever since this atrocity happened, I've been looking for a complete account, including the subhuman's name and picture. This is it. Turns out the creep was a drunken druggie who should have been locked up in a nut house.

The bicyclist he shot first was an Army vet, three tours in the middle east wars. All around great guy.

Being an insurance man on drugs, he was only drumming up more business for his buddies.

Nutbags are no longer locked up. They are left to wander the streets taking a trail mix bag of mind altering pharmaceuticals that take enough of the edge off so they can ‘function’.

Institutions that incarcerate the severely insane and closely monitor the more moderately insane on some sort of outpatient basis should become a normal part of our society again.

Imagine living in a state that gets a large part of its revenues from drug tourism.

You know, everybody is looking to see if the shooter is a terrorist, muslim, right wing nut, maybe a minority, maybe on drugs or alcohol, maybe just crazy.

Why hasn't someone speculated that it's a symptom of the mess that has been made of our country?.
There are few jobs, we're flooded with immigrants, legal and illegal, prices are way up, the government is in open rebellion against the populace. The international situation is in chaos.

Is it any wonder that the people are acting like rabid animals?

Very little information on this attack and the information we do have had been slow. It was two days before we even knew the shooter’s name. When was the last terrorist attack when it took two days to find who did it?

Is this another case of mentally-ill people inflamed by anti-Christian hatred?

Figuring out the reasoning behind a mentally ill mind is like deciphering an abstract painting.

I've seen speculations of that sort discussed online. You'll never see such a thing mentioned by the media, though - too hard to spin it to the Commies' benefit.

You didn't mention his name. It appears to be "Noah Harpham".

I do not doubt he was a druggie. A lot of those druggies go psychotic from prolonged exposure to weed and other drugs.

Some of them were probably nuts to start with, but remained passably tolerable by dosing themselves with drugs.

Some of them were probably nuts to start with,

Harpham probably was - his father was suicidally depressed and mom was an alkie.

but remained passably tolerable by dosing themselves with drugs.

So in such cases drugs help rather than harm?
