Lights! Sirens! Demands for ID without even giving a reason! Trayvon Martin! Somehow, though, Professor Bland managed to escape with her life and go on to publish her accusations. Unfortunately for her, it turns out that the police had a dash cam in their car and they were on microphones for the entire encounter. As described at Fox News, the short movie which unfolds tells a rather different story. Or perhaps I should say, an entirely different story.

Former Dallas mayor Ron Kirk (who is also black) referred to Bland as someone looking for her Skip Gates moment. He makes some good points and I have to wonder if this isn’t yet another offshoot of the Ferguson Effect. Is every interaction between police and civilians now going to have to be conducted by officers of the same race as the person being interviewed? And body cameras may not be enough. We might have to have private film crews following the cops around every moment of every day. If the dash cam hadn’t been on and the audio good enough, we would have had two more officers branded as racists and facing all sorts of problems after they had been as polite as you could imagine anyone being.

Disturbing. As you say, such a level of dishonesty in the teaching profession bodes ill for the future.
I am glad, though, that the scam was uncovered.
Go to the Link to see the actual video from the police car dashcam. The police were so polite and just concerned for her safety. She immediately starts taking pictures of the cops. She has a giant chip on her shoulder, just like Obama.

Amazingly enough she continues to walk on the right side of the street rather than the left side or the sidewalk.
Why is it that negroes can not use the side walk?
As a driver, I am always irritated when pedestrians walk in the street when sidewalks are present. Why do they do that?
It is my belief that these race card players will quickly run this stuff into the ground. A local city here just announced the purchase of 100 body cams to be worn by the LEOs. Those, plus the dashcams they already have will bring a lot of this sensational accusation stuff to naught pretty quickly.
Trying to goad the officers into confronting her or arresting her
There needs to be a law, with high evidentiary standards but also serious penalties, against levelling false charges against the police.
Undermine the cops and you undermine their ability to preserve law and order. Killing their effectiveness and deterrant value. Thats about as much a crime against the general citizenry as you get.
Not just the teaching profession. IIRC, she’s the dean of the journalism department.
Only an IDIOT doesn’t realize the COP has a LIVE microphone on his lapel and a DASHCAM in his car. Bet she campaigned for Wendy Davis and still thinks ‘she was robbed’.
