The following map published by the Washington Post says it all: GOP dominance - GOP either has unified or split control over over most states. Democrats have unified or split control in a handful of states.

Is this why everything is going so well?

Repeal of 17A would be really, REALLY nice right now.

Well then, there’s no excuse not to push for nullification by the boatload.

Bingo. I was straining for a good retort, but stopped when I read yours. Nicely done — says it all in a few short words.

NOT PA! Three rats were just elected to the State Supreme Court and dems are firmly backing rat Governor Wolfe.

Well, yes. You are supposed to be happy that the Chamber of Commerce flunkies on the state and local level are not yet TOTALLY cooperating with the authoritarian fascists on the national level.

Colorado took another hard left turn this election by outing two conservative school boards of major counties; Jefferson, and Douglas. They also voted for a major tax increase in Douglas county.

The hell it would. Ted Cruz would be replaced by David Dewhurst (RINO) whom was supported by the entire GOP State Senate (he was their boss, see how that works?).

I’m flabbergasted this idiotic and totally enviable idea keeps getting pushed. Do people even think it through? Let politicians do the choosing, really? REALLY? Why do you think the amendment was passed? It was a god-damned corrupt process.

Well there’s one, the whole “it’s not authorized by the US Constitution” thing.

The map does say it all.

The GOP votes as Dims in Congress, the off year elections that give the GOP a sweep are meaningless.

And PA might go commie red in 2022 thanks to Union democrat swine buying the State Supreme Court and with it control of redistricting. Sounds like conservatives in PA were caught with their pants down last night.

“Sounds like conservatives in PA were caught with their pants down last night.”

The so-called conservatives in Colorado don’t even bother to campaign.

I’m against recall elections, not so fun when we’re the target of them.

Loved your response. My thoughts exactly. I could have sworn that all states except for two or three are controlled by Demolicans or Republicrats.

"Repeal of 17A would be really, REALLY nice right now."

You beat me to it Rodamala! Good work!

Note that the number of red and yellow states is more than enough states to ratify an amendment to the Constitution.

I try SO HARD to like the eastern part of the state! Not that the West is any better politically. Mrs p6 and I honeymooned on the Lancaster plateau, Lancaster, Intercourse, and basically Amish country. (We had planned to stay only one night at the Greystone Manor IIRC but our car, the Gutless Wonder 1970 Torino broke down)

No problem we had a WONDERFUL time!

We both LOVE the PA farm show but note that it is HEAVILY biased Eastward.

As far as Pennlive.com and the Harrisburg area...good grief!

A couple of years ago we missed a turn near Harrisburg and ended up lost near New Scotland. Even though we were on a tight schedule we didn’t mind at all!

Yep...and you can kiss Pittsburgh off they’re liberals to the core. Though rural areas in Pa do seem to be better off.

Actually Harrisburg needs to be cleared out entirely! We have far too many representatives....they’e chocking the system...such as it is.
