The latest batch of Hillary Clinton's private emails includes one that shows Clinton made an effort to help evacuate the acting Libyan prime minister from Benghazi amid a crumbling security situation.
The email shows Clinton received a request for supplies to help the acting prime minister leave Benghazi and transition into Tripoli, the nation's capital. Clinton seemingly greenlighted his request, and asked her aide Huma Abedin if the U.S. government could ship the requested supplies to a Libyan port.

It’s also been shown by this new release of emails that she constantly got requests for more security from people she claimed (under oath) that she did not. She lied, under oath, that the 600 requests for more security in Libya were not requests that would come to her level.

Your scenario makes Representative Roby’s question about Hillary’s whereabouts immediately after the attack that much more important.
The Cairo embassy tweeted it's first apology for the "video" early in the morning on Sept. 11th 2012 many hours before the attack in Benghazi. Even before the protests in Cairo.
