LOL!

Just last year the enviro-whackos were telling us how successful the fluorocarbon ban had been, because satellite data is now showing a complete healing of the “ozone layer”.......

Once again, the cycles are natural and vary widely, and man couldn’t affect it if he wanted to.

The “holes” are self healing.

If there was no ozone hole, we would not have seasons.

the hole in the ozone is not a problem, it’s part of our seasonal changes.

“... it detected the first sign of ozone recovery, largely thanks to a 1987 ban on gases that cause ozone depletion, but said it could be a decade before the hole begins shrinking.”

So, the hole has been this size since 1987 and is now just getting smaller? Or, did it get bigger and is now getting smaller?

Or was it actually smaller after 1987, and then got bigger and then get smaller.

In 2010, Nat. Geo. said that the ozone hole almost closed.

NASA’s Newman agreed: “The consequences of unabated CFC growth were disastrous for life,” he said.

“So at some point you had to act, and fortunately they acted before it became a really severe problem. We never got to the level of an environmental catastrophe.”

There’s a lot of “just escaped disaster” in there, as well as a “but maybe closing the hole will lead to global warming in Antarctica” crap in it.

This article is just BS.

***was no cause for alarm about a record-size hole this month in the ozone layer,***

Why is the hole still there! We gave up Freon-12 twenty five years ago!

Sunlight creates ozone. The hole over Antarctica increases from Winter darkness, and decreases with Summer sunlight.

Why are we worried about a greenhouse gas?

I remember the CFC farce. When it was pointed out that CFCs are too heavy to get to the atmosphere to “destroy the ozone” the doomsdayers said that CFCs were being carried heavenward by tornadoes. These people are ridiculous scam artist.

Clueless twits. The hole will continue to set records as weak UV ouput from the sun continues. Exactly as you liars were told over 15 years ago.

another failed experiment in the environment, their ban isn’t going to solve this because the science was incomplete and just a guess
