Florida Sen. Marco Rubio had an impressive showing at Wednesday night's third GOP presidential debate. Rubio defended his Senate attendance record after an attack from his former mentor and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. He also took aim at Hillary Clinton, saying the former secretary of state lied about Benghazi to try to help President Obama's re-election campaign. Rubio joins "CBS This Morning" from Colorado to discuss his performance and the state of the race.

Whatever you may think of Rubio, he demolished Charlie Rose on this morning's CBS News. Rose was incredulous that Rubio would say that Hillary was a liar. Rubio said she had lied about Benghazi. Rose's eyes narrowed as he zeroed in on Rubio about her actions calling the attack the result of a YouTube video. Rubio paused only briefly before he educates Rose on the truth, and seems surprised that Rose can't accept the facts of the attack and administration cover-up.
A wonderful, clear example of media-bias in favor of Democrats and Hillary in particular.

The GOP won.
The MSM lost.
IMHO.
All of the candidates did very well, especially Cruz and Rubio-—except Bush and Kasich

Rubio: “It’s ok that I’m a slacker. You let other well-known slackers get away with it before.”

Helluva mentor you’ve got there, Marco.

You think Carson did very well? I thought he failed miserably, considering his near-frontrunner status. Probably ended that short run.

Winning a debate against Jeb is like beating a 10 year old in a debate.

George P. Bush, Land Commissioner of Texas, has been outside the state campaigning for his father.
Wonder if Jeb has told his son to stay home and work or turn his paycheck over.

Yes!
I particularly loved how Carson responded to the same sex marriage issue and political correctness.
Perfect response!

Rubio told this Rose the facts, and Rose had defeat written all over his lying face.

Nice job by RubioYes. Kinda surprised I got the thread up just before Rush covered it. Really amazed that Rose took to questioning Rubio's statement of the facts. It seems as if it really was the first time Rose had heard the narrative.

Nice, he took that jerk Charlie Rose to school. I wonder if dimwit Rose has any idea how much of a jackass he was made out to be.

Can’t get on the Rubio band wagon because I realize that if he were POTUS, he and Ryan would pass AMNESTY.

Rubio did a good job bringing out the truth. Thanks for posting.

What you call amnesty is what my great-grandfather called immigration when he got here with 5 dollars in his pocket.
