The CBS/NY Times poll is a true random sample poll, using scientific methods. It is not a push poll. I don’t think the person claiming that it is a push poll even knows what a push poll is. The CBS/NY Times poll is an honest poll.

Here is Trump did to Anderson Cooper when Cooper tried to pull a false poll on Trump.

If you are talking nationwide, all levels of media, Trump is accurate here. If he is talking about the national level of political media, then he is underestimating things by at least 15%.

I also know that if a poll has Trump in the lead, you same people embrace, push and brag about how good Trump is doing. It is all amusing to me.

Yes, quite amusing indeed. It started with the Iowa polls. As one after the other rolled in showing Carson in the lead the Trumpsters claimed they were all fake or push polls. Now pretty much all Iowa polls show Carson leading and suddenly Iowa doesn't matter.

Now this trend has spread nationally and we see the same phenomenon - denial, claims the poll is fake, that some sort of conspiracy is afoot, etc.

Something has happened to diminish Trump's popularity. That support is going to Carson - whom I believe is actually on a book tour and not even campaigning. My guess is Trump's dalliance with pseudo 9-11 truther nonsense offended a lot of Republicans who greatly admire GW Bush's response to 9-11. Conservatives may not have much use for brother Bush on almost any other issue, but they really do appreciate how he handled 9-11.

I don’t think Dr. Carson is even capable of Powell type treachery. And what did it profit Colin Powell? He didn’t even get a minor post in the ObaMao administration and his entire career and persona is forgotten. Nobody even talks about him anymore.
