“China, like the rest of the world, accurately sees obozo as weak and spineless.”
Exactly right.
What better real world example of the adage: ‘Weakness begets aggression’? This is the legacy of 0bama.
And now that Xi and Putin are pals, they can coordinate activities to keep a weak, politically correct military with ultra low morale back on their heels. Didn’t the Pentagon announce that we have abandoned our policy to be able to fight two wars simultaneously?
I fully expect Mainland China to make a play at Taiwan before Jan 2017, and be de facto King of the Spratleys. All due to eight years of a man child for Chief Executive.
1996 all over again.
But the media remains ignorant of history...
Why is the US trying to start a war with Russia and China?
Very good analysis. Absolutely true.
China will just keep building on these islands until the bases are strong enough. The US can sail by as many times as they want.
China won’t do anything now but will plot long term. They won’t forget.
If this event lingers, we may get to see Jon Huntsman soon.

Hey, Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg has a lot of goodwill in China.
He is married to a Chinese lady and speaks Mandarin, maybe we can ask HIM to be our “ambassador”:
See him here in one of China’s most prestigious university doing a Q&A for 30 minutes IN CHINESE:

Mark Zuckerberg think that if he kisses Chi-Com butt long enough, they’ll let him back into China.
That’s about as likely as him finding a dolphin riding a unicorn jumping over a rainbow.
Or, support Vietnam in a similar enterprise. There’s certainly no love lost twixt them and the Chinese.
I do not however trust soebarkah with respect to any of this. Whatever his motives, they are not in America’s best interests.
The Chinese Communist are idiots.
They have done something that would have been unthinkable 15 years ago....unite the nations of the Western Pacific.
1. Japan has amended it pacifist constitution.
2. India’s Navy is now undertaking operations outside the Indian Ocean.
3. There are now routine naval exercises with the US, Australia, Japan, Vietnam, Philippines and India.
4. Vietnam have invited the US back .
5. The Philippines have invited the US back.
6. Vietnam and the Philippines have had joint exercises.
7. For the first time since 1945, Japan has a carrier task force and is considering building a jet capable CV.
8. Australia is modernizing it submarine fleet.
9. Taiwan has been invited as observers in military exercises.
10. Every Western Pacific nation is increasing military spending.
The Beijing Communists’ “Hard/Hard” strategy isn’t scaring other nations into compliance, it just increases their resolve.

“China has indisputable sovereignty over the Spratly Islands and surrounding waters, Lu said.”
Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines have a mush better claim than China. Geographically and historically.
A Chinese attempt to enforce an ADIZ over the South China Sea would increase tensions with its neighbors, most notably Vietnam, the Philippines and Malaysia, and they would place increasing pressure on Washington not to back down.
An ADIZ is not territory. We have ADIZ far beyond our “territory”. Anyone is free to fly into any ADIZ. The country setting up the ADIZ might fly up and look at you. You have no legal responsibility to interact with them.
No, we passed -inside- the 12 mile limit they imposed.
I think the word you are looking for is milquetoast.
Well, I wasn’t looking, but I should have been.
= :^)
that was good.
