On the plus side, since one needs toughness to go up against liberals, some rough exchanges on FR may be helpful, like clubhouse sparring to prepare for fights with a money purse at stake. And one of the lessons is that calm restraint and intelligence and wit are usually more effective against an opponent than simple slash and burn hostility. More than once I have been grateful for the check box next to the post button as spurring me to second thought and revision of my comments before posting.
