My view: America's health care system will look worse in 2016 thanks to Obamacare (Pelosi knew)

**SNIP**

Obamacare's employer mandate, which requires companies to provide affordable health insurance to their workers or pay fines, will take full effect next year. Currently, only firms with 100 or more workers had to comply with the rule. But starting Jan. 1, 2016, businesses with 50 or more full-time workers will have to furnish coverage for at least 95 percent of their employees.

This mandate will cost companies dearly. It requires them to cover employees' adult children up to age 26. What's more, an employee's share of the premium can't amount to more than 9.5 percent of his or her income — Obamacare's arbitrary definition of what makes care "affordable."

Employers who don't provide coverage will face fines of $2,000 for every full-time worker after the first 30, if at least one receives a subsidy through the exchanges. If an employer doesn't provide coverage that's considered affordable, he must pay the lesser of $2,000 per staffer, minus the first 30, or $3,000 for every employee who gets a subsidy through Obamacare's exchanges.

Experience with the 50-100 employee bunch has shown that when they offer this insurance, nearly no one takes it, because they can’t afford the premiums.

It will absolutely KILL jobs, but that OK, because we have the Federal Reserve printing money at zero interest rates to buy up government debt and that will cover a lot unemployment checks and foodstamps.

Just cut wages by 90.5% of the cost of Obamacare, take that money out of the employer's budget, and take the last 9.5% out of the employee's income. It's the same outcome, and it will draw attention to yet another damaging effect of that shockingly evil law. I pray that Obamacare will be repealed within a week after January 20, 2017 - as soon as we have a real President in our White House again.

The whole scheme will collapse next year and Moochelle’s buddies who were paid like sixty-eight hundred million dollars to create a web page are the only people making out on this.

Actually as bad as it may get in 2016, that may be a good thing as it will help Trump or whoever the candidate may be to beat Hillary and she damn well supported this disaster. To quote her from last month when it came to repealing Obamacare “Not on my watch”....

http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/20/politics/hillary-clinton-obamacare-fixes/

If Trump is the nominee, he will absolutely obliterate Hillary on this. This will be all of 2016 people will have to experience the absolute nightmare that is Obamacare.

Or the deductibles.

Giving birth to the 49 employee small business, don't laugh, I met someone who was going to do it, downsize to 49...

I actually know of two small businesses that went from low 60’s to 45. And that 45 is a hard cap. They aren’t taking any chances that they will get hit by accidently going over 50 even for a day.

They did he math and felt that anything above 50 would cost them more than they would make in profit.

What if a small business....say manufacturing business now hiring up to 100.....they make nuts and bolts and assemble them under one roof.......

What if: they put a partition/wall in the middle of the plant....new company name for the new one. One side makes the nuts and bolts.......then they go over to the other new company to be assembled........

Of course improvise according to the product made. Only have to let 2 people go. Would that work?

I’m sure most have been cut to part-time already. Everyone I know in a non-professional job has had their hours slashed.

“The whole scheme will collapse next year and Moochelle’s buddies who were paid like sixty-eight hundred million dollars to create a web page are the only people making out on this.”

And it’s about the worst piece of software I’ve seen lately. Simplistic, limited, and full if bugs. Hubby tried to upload proof of wage documents - it had to be done as a change of life event and since he entered that subroutine without a real change of life event, we were cancelled! Nice logic. Obviously liberal logic.

I had to deal with my states exchange website. Eventually they told me to print some forms and mail them in for manual entry. Of course they enter it wrong and I spent almost two months for and probably 5 hours to have them correct my address.

The Mainstream Press has known about this for years and is covering up for the Obama Administration and the Democrats who brought this Obamination upon us.

Yep - our son has cancer and when he had to stop working last year, lost his work coverage because COBRA was so high for it. He ended up on Obama Care (hospital actually paid 3 months premiums because the return was so great compared to him having no coverage).

He just got word that his premiums have gone up 50% and his deductibles have doubled -- that's what serves as "progress in the right direction" to the Obamacare-ites.

Since he's on SS disability, I imagine his hit isn't as bad as those who can still work.

Yes hedging his bets with 45 and not 49. To AnnieOkie, I am not sure of the dynamics of a family biz that is let’s say 49 X 2 with a subdivision wall to seperate. My guess it can’t be the same payroll, & tax i.d. number, but can they be under one LLC or holding company? Not an attorney or CPA, however they might have the answer....

Guess the states have done no better. I still don’t see why states didn’t just clone the fed website and edit it. Starting from scratch just cost millions of unnecessary dollars. Especially if most states’ websites aren’t designed any better.

Next step will be forcing companies to deduct the 9.5% of every employee's salary as a Standard Contribution and pay for the rest of the cost out of their own profits.
