Interesting. Watching Cruz is quite fascinating. Very gradual and solid.

“Darwin Deason reportedly donated $5 million to a network of pro-Perry super-PACs that has since been returned.”

This is GOOD news ?

Exactly. Probably wants cheap labor, like all CoC folks do.

What does any donor get? It is a lottery ticket in hopes of getting at least some of your desires established in policy or law. That is true across the board.

I’m afraid that Cruz will be owned before this is over. Perry is an amnesty pimp. I’m not sure this is good news for Cruz. (hey - that rhymes - LOL).

What do they get for their money?

Assistance to a man whose actions and words already reflect much of what they want to support.

Yep, in politics, money never comes with no strings attached.

I’d say it’s much much better than a lottery chance. You give someone millions to win the President of the United States they are going to owe you even with a man with integrity like cruz

That was my thought. They are likely wanting to see the EPA reigned in, or eliminated....just for starters.

Eric Cantor? Money doesn’t mean that much any more - look at the money Jeb Bush raised - it didn’t help him one bit in the polls. These are different times we live in - and desperate ones. However, I don’t think Cruz would be a bad president - I’m just concerned now that he will be owned by outside forces who require a payback for their money.

Remember when conservatives actually supported Citizens United?

The fair weather so called conservatives are virtually in distinguishable from the GOPe.

Among notable “conservatives” who have spoken out against big money backers are Barrack Obama, John McCain and Bernie Sanders.

What do they get for their money?

A President who does their bidding.

“Very gradual and solid.”

We do not need this.

We need energy and excitement.

Nobody votes for “solid”.

What do they get for their money?

“We as a group wanted to stay together to support a true conservative candidate for president — one who will stand up for and defend the Constitution,” Darwin Deason said in a statement.
