"No power in the world" can stop the "intifada", Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh declared on Sunday, according to the Ma’an news agency.
Speaking at a demonstration in Beirut, Haniyeh said, "We are ready for political and popular unity at all levels and willing to agree on a united national strategy to protect the intifada, regain Palestinians' rights, and adhere to the inalienable nationalistic principles."
He added that national unity was "embodied today by Palestinian people in the field" and should be maintained and deepened at a political level.
"No power in the world will succeed in putting out the Al-Quds Intifada," he declared, according to Ma’an.
"Some people thought that our people have tired from intifadas, revolutions and resistance, and even based their strategies on the thought that our people would not rise again. However, the Al-Quds Intifada came to thwart all their plans," added Haniyeh.
The latest terror wave has been referred to by its inciters as the “Al-Quds Intifada” over a false claim that the Al-Quds Mosque on the Temple Mount is being harmed by Israel and Palestinian Arabs must respond.
Haniyeh last week released a call for all Palestinian Arabs to continue this "intifada", saying in a speech that was recorded and played at a conference in Istanbul that "the knife of the intifada" defends the name of the Palestinian people and the Arab Islamic nation at its holy places, among them Al-Aqsa Mosque.

I can ONLY conclude the palestinians' rights are summed up in the notion of being able to once again freely bring suicide bombers to pizza parties, bar mitzvahs, and transit busses, at will. Because that is the ONLY thing they are being deprived of at present.

No need for anything so drastic. Haniyeh’s statement contains the Intifada’s undoing. The palis are never unified, any more than any other Arabs are. It’s contrary to a congenital tendency that predates Islam. In the old days, it was the never-ending conflict between Qys and Yemenite tribes, who were constantly undermining each other, and never intermarried. Then in Jerusalem it was the rivalry between the Husseini and Khalidi families, which the British decided in favor of the Husseinis by appointing Haj Amin elHusseini Mufti of Jerusalem and then elevating him to Grand Mufti. His political opponents had a way of dying. Now it’s Hamas vs. Fatah. Later it’ll be something else, but there are always two warring factions. No need to sterilize all males. Just leave them to their own devices and protect bystanders, and they’ll do each other in.
