Which is it are they tied in Iowa or is Carson up 8?
If polling is supposed to be so scientific why is there 8 whole points apart?
To: TexasCruzin
Do you think that one rally would shift opinion that much?
That seems like a pretty good move for one rally.

I posted this on another thread and it matches what you said:
“But I dont want to watch anyone perform surgery for 20 hours. I want a president whose speeches are inspiring, who interacts with foreign leaders in a dynamic way, and lights a fire under the few conservatives in congress.”
I like Cruz but he doesn’t inspire the same way Trump has. I’m not sure why.
I don’t know what his illegal immigration plan is and he hasn’t explained why we need more H1B workers. I need to hear about that. But he’d be a great VP and that would give him recognition for 4 or 8 years from now.

No kidding.
All the way around she is just a champion of herself.
She stands for nothing that is right.
I tell you, I despise this creature.

Cruz and Trump have different STYLES of communicating with the public, and the words Style vs Substance comes to mind. If Cruz has the votes, I'll vote for him. If Trump has the votes, I'll vote for him and Cruz must be involved in the operation of this government. Trump needs to be vetted on ConservativeReview.com, though he doesn't profess to be a Conservative. We the public need to know how he stands on the issues as outlined on www.ConservativeReview.com. versus the other candidates. STYLE is important but ultimately the most important issue is the SUBSTANCE of the candidate's views on issues that are of major importance to us all. Vet Trump and allow us to compare his responses to those of the other candidates. He may not be a Conservative, but he's looking for our votes, and we need to see in writing how he stands on the issues as put forth by ConservativeReview.com

I also wonder about the validity of this poll. My understanding is Yougov respondents are self-selected, not a scientific sample.

"I don't understand Carson's lead. Something seems very wrong. And IMHO, there's something "sneaky" about Carson. He goes off on tangents, talks with his eyes clothes and he's robotic. Just seems to me."
Could be wrong, but I don't see him as sneaky, just lethargic.

No, it’s not a commercial...it’s called an opinion..you have one and so do I. And opinions are completely “appropriate” on Free Republic, in case you haven’t noticed.

“If you think Ted Cruz is going to win the nomination, youre dreaming.”
Yes, some of us still dare to dream of seeing a conservative president. And since Cruz is the only one running, I for one will support him all the way.

repeating the same website 3 times in the same post sounds like a commercial.

Good catch, yes it read that way.
I like your tag line. Public ‘education’ is one of my pet peeves. I got a teaching credential in math, chemistry, and physics then couldn’t stomach the liberal agenda that’s forced on every classroom. So I went and got a real job. Until we went Galt.... now I’m waiting for CWII to commence.
To: highball
I agree with you. Ted Cruz is the most qualified, and he fights for US.
