Trump has said repeatedly that he is not blaming GWB for 9/11

Well, it sure sounds that way. He's as much of a politician as the rest of the corporatist insiders.

If all of you people here understood the context of what Trump was saying, logically he was correct. Yeb was saying the country was safe under GW, yet Trump instinctively pointed out that the towers came down while he was President. His point, was that Yeb was undeniably wrong in his assertion, yet somehow that makes Trump a birther and Yeb not delusional?

What I am starting to understand is that what you and I considered Conservative, you know that smaller government, economic growth kind of stuff, is not what most so-called conservatives had in mind.

That has become abundantly clear. Many so called Trumpster conservatives are only for smaller government when it is cutting programs they don't like. Obama proposed massive infrastructure spending in the form of the Stimulus and it was universally ridiculed here. Trump also proposes massive infrastructure spending, but suddenly that counts as "Making America Great Again".

The truth is many Trump followers are really more populist protectionists (with some nationalism thrown in) than they are conservatives.

I do not believe it likely that Trump is the nominee at the end of the day, but his candidacy sure has exposed the fact that many grass roots supposed conservatives really aren't that conservative at all.

I want all those things and I realize the GOPe is NEVER going to deliver those things. So it is time to destroy the temple and build a wall. The GOPe destroyed their brand not me.

Go Trump go!

Kind of like Washington, Hamilton, Jefferson and Adams? Like those guys?

I guess Jefferson’s embargo in 1807 that nearly strangled the infant nation’s economy in the cradle gets the Trumpsters all nostalgic. As for the other three, you would be yelling RINO at them if you had any knowledge of what their policies were. Washington, Hamilton, and Adams had a name for the Trumpsters, they called them the mob.

Boy, I sure wish I could post as smartly as you do! It's just jam packed with facts to support your position, completely devoid of personal attacks, well stated!

I blame both parties for 9/11. I put more blame on clinton then Bush but I still blame them both. Neither side was interested in protecting us from people who had no business being in this country.

Maybe you can, but you sure as hell haven't demonstrated it yet. I seriously doubt you ever could....

It's just jam packed with facts to support your position, completely devoid of personal attacks,

Only a moron needs specific facts to back up the damned obvious dynamic that attacking Bush from the LEFT IS STOOOOOooPID......and I am not making personal attacks, I am making accurate assessment of your material.

I support Cruz but had resigned myself to voting for big government populist Trump should he win the nomination. But his embrace of Michael Moore style moonbat hucksterism is chasing me away quickly. The guy is poison. He should start playing Dixie Chicks when he storms the stage in front of his crowds of fawning, confused former conservatives.

Well said! What the hell happened around here? I feel like a cloud of mass hysteria has descended and it’s nice to stumble upon one of the few stragglers who still seems to be resisting the group dementia.

“Have you mentioned Trump’s “reign” any more since yesterday?”

Are you any less of a jerk than you were yesterday?

You talked about a potential president “reigning”, just as Valerie Jarrett referred to Obama “ruling”, and I’m the jerk?

That’s novel.

"…..attacking Bush from the LEFT IS STOOOOOooPID….."

I think I got it now. Saying Bush's immigration policy may have played a roll in the second WTC attack, is "attacking him from the left" and "STOOOOOooPID".

BUT, you can demonstrate your genius by "attacking him from the right" by saying his immigration policy may play a roll in the death of Americans from criminal aliens.

Look idiot......the immigration policy didn’t have a damned thing to do with 9-11 - the immigration policy was inherited from previous years AND these guys ALREADY ALL HAD THEIR DAMNED VISAS.

So yes that was stupid, and giving Bush ANY of the blame and the bullshit they knew it was coming and so on plays into the truther and MSNBC talking points.

You are just over your head and your knowledge here, and it’s clear. You mess your panties on every post.
