Who on this site didn’t vote for George Bush if you were of age?

Who on this site thought GWB would sell us down the river at the end of his presidency?
There are many if us who were taken in by George’s promises and the predicament America was in at the time.
It’s unfair to judge someone who felt the same at that time in history

before finally fleeing Washington, leaving a trail of unfavorable impressions in his wake

If he managed to pi$$ off the establishment, he must have been doing some things right.

Same consideration of Bushes. I think they are overly political and try to butter their bread on both sides.

Being a big W fan from days as Texas Gov. Who the f___ would ever publically call Slick a Brother from another Mother? Sadly, must have a lot in common that was well hide all those years.

LOL Third time’s a charm :)

Voodoo. Position already taken at this time. Remember the chants and cries coming from behind the closed doors of our oo? The high priest and its mistress conducting ceremonies.

“So Bush was responsible for the bubble as well. Lol. You people are insane.”

You people? I was speaking only for myself. And yes, I do believe that Boosh, through his policies and cronyism was involved in the crash of 2007 either tacitly or directly. Either that, or as some have said, he really was stupid! Globalists like the Booshes really don’t give a $hit about anyone but themselves and their one world buddies.

“And no doubt you had fantastic returns on your investments in the years prior when the stock market was at all time highs and unemployment was below 5%. All the investors got scared when Pelosi took over and they were right to be scared. But you just have to beat up on Bush so have at it.”

Yes returns were excellent, but thanks to the government’s involvement through Freddie Mac et.al. and the mortgage debacle that they collectively created, Wall St. collapsed. Actually, my now former broker, when I was considering selling a position in Lehman Bros a week before they went under, told me that if it were possible, he would purchase the stock for his own portfolio because he considered it to be a high-quality investment! Then days later when I watched $20,000 evaporate, he just said it was “tough luck.”

Freddie Mac was a scheme that the Democrats foisted onto America so they could put their people into these positions and funnel millions of dollars into their pockets, i.e. Jamie Gorelick.

The mortgage debacle was something that Democratic Senators and Jamie Gorelick foisted on banks during the Clinton presidency by forcing them to fund housing for people who couldn’t afford it, i.e. the subprime mortgage crisis which many Republicans and George Bush decried when it was started. They knew the policies would fail, but were not listened too since housing prices skyrocketed and people were making a lot of money.

In 2008, Lehman faced an unprecedented loss to the continuing subprime mortgage crisis. Still do not see how you can blame President Bush. Congressman Barney Frank was the real architect of the whole thing, but nobody seems to want to blame him.

“Still do not see how you can blame President Bush”

Simple, just like Trump said with respect to GWB not “keeping us safe,” he was the president at the time all of this happened. And yeah, I know all about Barney Fag’s role, but it doesn’t matter. This happened during his presidency and he therefore has to own it! And you know, I “worried” during both of GWB’s elections that he might loose to the RAT! But at the end of the day, he was a lousy president. And now, he pipes up to trash Cruz, a man who is too decent to respond in kind. The Booshes have no class, they aren’t good enough to polish Ted Cruz’ shoes, or clean the toilets on Trump’s plane. What I find interesting is that someone like yourself, in light of the facts, still defends this sack of $hit!

So you are the kind of low information person who thinks that President Bush should have grounded every plane on 9/10 and forced all of the Air travelers to go through current TSA procedures because some FBI person said there might be an attack somewhere in the USA?

And you would have been screaming at the top of your lungs he was a Nazi if President Bush had done all that. You cannot conflate a pre-9/11 world to a post 9/11 world like a Monday quarterback. Clinton was specifically responsible due to the “wall” between the FBI and the CIA, and secondarily responsible because he refused to give Bush any kind of security briefings prior to assuming office so President Bush had to totally start from scratch on 20 Jan. No briefings, files and computers destroyed and stolen, and not one iota of assistance from the outgoing administration. The Clintons and Gores practiced scorched earth on the White House before President Bush even got the first step into the building.

Oh stick a fork in it. I would not vote for Jeb Bush, nor most of the other people running. My first pick is Cruz, Carson then possibly Trump, but I would hold my nose doing it.

But just because I do not beat on George Bush every second of the day doesn’t mean I support RINOs. President Bush did some drastically wrong things and some drastically right things. But president Gore would have been a thousand times worse.
