Cruz really isn't sucking up to Trump. Why would he attack someone who is also despised by the establishment and beloved by the grassroots? It would be political suicide and the establishment GOP will still hate his guts.
I don't get it. Cruz simply avoided the MSM-inspired initial scrum intended to intimidate Trump. After the media BS died down (as it always does) Cruz looked a lot smarter afterwards because of his discretion.
Maybe W feels that Cruz owes the Bush family something, from some previous, unknown business together.

WOW! GW finally speaks not to Obama’s last 7 and a half miserable years, but trashes CRUZ. I really did hold some much regard and respect for him as governor of my state and also throughout his Presidency! I always supported him even at his worse choices. I’m so glad I haven’t a problem with TRUMP TROUNCING on the Bushes! They deserve it!
