The contract with the sponsors guaranteed Trump as a participant. No Trump. No Money.

Everyone else is along for the ride.

Without Huck there would not have been a ripple on the water. Plus I didn’t see a letter from Huck threatening to pull out of the debate or any other candidate except Trump and Carson.

Huckabee is living in dreamland. He and every other candidate not named Trump or Carson could drop out and nobody would notice or care.

Who among them threatened to pull out?

Trump and Carson made the deal because they *ARE* the deal.

No ratings Huckster wouldn’t understand that credible individuals make good on their credible threats. Huckabeeee, not so much. He probably sat there on the conference phone preferring to inject himself into the conversation with endless twaddle and got absolutely no response.

No one cares, Mike. Go home.

I’ve always liked Huckabee, but who else threatened to walk out and meant it?

Trump and Carson got the credit because they deserved it. Trump probably bulldozed it through by himself, but I think Carson did say he wouldn’t be there unless they got their way.

Yes there was a conference call, and a lot of folks were in on it. That part is true. But the credit went to the ones who really stood their ground.

Huckabee says it was not just the retired neurosurgeon and billionaire businessman that were pushing for the changes.
Maybe not but they're the only ones that matter.

Poor Huckabee. He’s reduced to doing this kind of thing to see his name in print - very small print.

At the next debate Huckabee could try standing on his head naked and peeing into his mouth. That sort of stunt would really help his chances at getting another CNN gig.

Right. It was Trump who derailed the railroad.

I love Huckabee in a lot of ways. But he’s got a shyster within him that undermines his credibility and trustworthiness. Like when he released some violent criminals to please some Black preachers who he wanted political support from demanded that he do it. Those ex-prisoners, then proceeded to wreck havoc on innocent citizens. He’s a sad case.
