If I had known in 2004 that GWB had decreased border and interior enforcement AFTER 9/11, I never would have voted to re-elect him. I did not find out until his “See you at the signing” statement in 2006 just how duplicitous W had been about the whole illegal alien inundation.

One of the Bush administration’s first acts, even before the dust had settled from the collapse of the Twin Towers, was to gather up Bin Laden’s relatives here in the USA and fly them out.

That has always bothered me and it was certainly hushed up.
Before you get yourself too worked up over a non event lets be honest about GW Bush. I voted for the maroon twice and I can be objective.
Bush was the cheap labor express bought and paid for. He was no conservative that’s for sure. He did nothing to secure the border and tried to jam amnesty down our throats. Then he let two border patrol agents who should have gotten medals for shooting a drug dealer in the azz languish in prison until practically the day he left office. Even then he only commuted their sentences instead of a full pardon because Bush was trying to cover up for his good buddy Johnny Sutton the DA who should have been disbarred for prosecutorial misconduct in the case.
Bush went raging into Iraq and then didn’t have the good sense to leave the Iraq army intact so they could defend themselves when we left. Instead he destroyed the whole Iraqi army and then tried to build a new one from the ground up. An total disaster to this day. We could have been in and out of there in 6 mos.
George W. Bush the free trader happily presided over the continuing demise of our manufacturing and loss of companies to other countries.
The other thing that really frosts my grits is the unmitigated gall of the whole Bush family including GW to proudly adopt Bill Clinton impeached ex president, sexual predator and all around morally bankrupt criminal into their family and call him a son and a brother. Absolutely unbelievable to this day. Would you bring that scum into your home and love him like a brother? I don’t think so.
So lets not get too worked up because Donald Trump made some banal comment about George Bush. I didn’t see it as helpful to his campaign but I’m not losing any sleep over it.
