This could be a big thing in union-heavy states like MI, OH, PA, etc.
Every time a member of the Parasite Class moves from Michigan to Illinois the GOP comes one vote closer to carrying the state. If we could get Michigan & Pennsylvania competitive it would be a game changer.
I have always been shocked that the trade unions sided with the RATS, where it is the right that support economic policies that would benefit the unions.
Promise Yeb they would fill up the Union ranks with illegals and Yeb's there tomorrow.
Union bosses want jobs
Trump creates jobs
Hillary will kill jobs
Should be an EZ call.
Is this new or rehash of last weeks news?
Depends on what you mean by “the right.”
Many Republicans and conservatives, and nearly all the GOP leadership, is sold out on “free” trade. Only recently have the Dems really began to embrace “free” trade wholeheartedly, so it’s not surprising that only recently have the unions started shopping around.
I sense that a rather dramatic realignment is going to be taking place in American politics. It will probably be one that the libertarian-types won’t like.
Well, your problem is that you think in terms of jobs support.
The unions think in terms of corruption, political deals, and control of their “subjects”.
You go back to the early 20th century and unions were overtly mob related.
When you think in those terms, the Democrat party is their natural home.
It’s the small business community that has traditionally supported the Republicans and unions were a death knell to them.
LOL, "notable boost"?! More a "Rat Catastrophe!" Bwahahaha! And "middle of the road"?! The TEAMSTERS?! LOL, the Rats are losing their MINDS over this!
Trump only needs to ask “How many union workers has Hillary hired?”
When push comes to shove its still JOBS and the ECONOMY. Trump is the obvious winner there.
Yep. The Teamsters were pushing very hard for the last 7 years for the Keystone pipeline. It would have created tens of thousands of Teamster jobs. They feel betrayed by Obama and now Hillary. They are tired of being bitches for the eco-Nazis. If Trump is the nominee they will endorse him.
To my knowledge Trump is the only guy on our side promising to dismantle trade agreements. That’s the way to draw union voters at this point.
But Trump has a fine line to walk. One signal that he is going to bed with the unions, and his support plummets. People aren’t just angry at the GOPe; it’s the entire system.
Trump wants jobs for Americans.
Hillary wants illegals to flood the country so democrats will keep getting elected.
Union members aren’t stupid... they know what’s happening.
This article is over two weeks old, as is the union action to temporarily withhold endorsing Hillary. I guess that’s why you didn’t date it: to make it LOOK like news when its not?
I disagree on the union line up. I don’t think Trump’s support will plummet. In fact, I think it will help Trump in many ways. It’s consistent with his business rep, it puts him closer to the unions which gives him more of a chance to take action to help clean them up OR expose them, and it keeps the unions out of the pockets of the Dems.
I see it as a win.
It’s about time the corrupt unions quit pushing the Democrats on the working members. I doubt Trump will give into the corruption they desire.
I'm reminded of a scene in Atlas Shrugged where the politicians and bureaucrats are sitting in a conference room reviewing the wreckage they've made of the economy. There is the head of a major trade union there as well and as the government guys start throwing ideas out to fix things (more big government) the union guy sees that what they want to do will push everything past the point of no return. But he cynically sides with them as long as the unions get a deal out of it.
Rand portrayed the unions as smart and sly, but unprincipled. I'd say she got it right.
