While political watchers were tuned in to the Democratic Debate on CNN, folks tuning in on Twitter found Donald Trump a bit more interesting than the five candidates who took the state at the Wynn Las Vegas Resort.
According to data compiled by Voactiv, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump gained about 60,000 followers halfway through the Tuesday night debate.

Did you hear about Trump shopping in a Muslim book store? The owner asked Trump if he needed some help and he said, “Yes, I am looking for my book on anti-immigration”. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have the exact number of Twitter followers. That to me was incredible to see. I wasn’t expecting that. Donald really has improved himself from six months ago.
According to twitter numbers I saw... he had 4.44 million when I signed up to follow along, that was just after the debate started... and he had 4.55 million at the end, assuming those were correct numbers, simple math tells me that is more than 60,000 new followers, in fact almost double that at closer to 110,000 in a 2 hour period.
Also at about an hour and a half into it, I also noticed the most favorite tweet with #demdebate was one of Trumps tweets... Sounds like the biggest winner to me that was not even in the debate!
since the debate trump has gained 160,000 followers from 4.42 million to 4.58 million.
..and the other night while he was tweeting, I noticed, since I was tweeting also, over 4,000 signed up to him...
It was fun, interesting, and very entertaining...hehehe
