Big mergers predate Obama by a lot, and technically neither of these companies is American. And Miller has been on life support for a long time. I wonder how this effects the MillerCoors thing.
Nothing wrong with RR either!
It’s a decent night yard work beer.
InBev will fire thousands of people. They break up companies they buy and make alot of money doing so while thousands lose their jobs.
what do you get when you merge swill with swill? you get swill.
You’re not too bright are you? First of all, I was referring to the inherent danger posed when there is a consolidation of competition and the ease of which governments can control industries with fewer companies. Secondly, these mega-breweries own and operate the distribution chains that provide those microbrewery products to the stores; what do you think will happen to the prices for distributing these micro beers in the coming months. Or do you think? Its laughable being called “divorced from reality” from someone so unbelievably clueless about basic economics and business operations.
And what does this have to do with Obama? Companies have been consolidating for decades. This has nothing to do with “government control’; its companies trying to survive because their tried and tested brands are now falling by the wayside to young upstarts.
Take a deep breath. Not EVERYTHING is Obama’s fault.
