Remember, Only Bad People Need Guns
The Truth About Guns ^ | 11 October, 2015 | Dean Weingarten

Most people in society are visual learners. A picture is literally worth a thousand words for conveying an idea to those whose primary way of gaining information is visual. The above cartoon is an example of the sort of samizdat art found sprinkled throughout the Internet, supporting armed self defense and an armed citizenry by lampooning anti-gun messages . . .

Most people in society are visual learners. A picture is literally worth a thousand words for conveying an idea to those whose primary way of gaining information is visual. The above cartoon is an example of the sort of samizdat art found sprinkled throughout the Internet, supporting armed self defense and an armed citizenry by lampooning anti-gun messages . . .

Note the lessons taught by the cartoon above. The idea that only bad people need guns is a childish one, purportedly penned by “Chuckie Bloomer, Age 6”. That’s clearly an oblique reference to the dynamic duo of New York Senator Schumer and Michael Bloomberg, infamous gun control advocates.

The cartoon has no attribution, and no copyright. It’s meant to be spread far and wide.

Cartoons supporting self defense have become rare in the old media, which is dominated by the advocacy of civilian disarmament. When the Washington Cartel – to use Senator Ted Cruz’s phrase – controls nearly all of the establishment media, and dominates the  popular culture, cartoons like this reach out to those who don’t read John Lott’s research.

The commenters at TTAG have almost half assuming that this is an anti-Second Amendment cartoon.

I am looking forward to the response here on freerepublic.

I’m a bad person, ‘cause I need lots of guns. The drawing, however, is satire.

The poster states "Get rid of you're guns".

I just posted this earlier, but I'll post it on this thread. Here's a 6-minute Video about murder rates around the world, with and without guns.

I was surprised at the TTAG response on the Chuckie Bloomer cartoon.

I did not expect so many people to be so literal.

It appears that our so called “schools” consider law enforcement officers, the military, the Secret Service, the FBI, the CIA and law abiding American citizens as being “bad people”. This is the bull**** that the commie libs running the communist programming centers are “teaching” our kids when they aren’t showing them how to have sex or become a sexual deviant.

If you are for gun control, then you are not against guns, because the guns will be needed to disarm people. So it’s not that you are anti-gun. You’ll need the police’s guns to take away other people’s guns. So you are very pro-gun, you just believe that only the Government (which is, of course, so reliable, honest, moral and virtuous) should be allowed to have guns. There is no such thing as gun control. There is only centralizing gun ownership in the hands of a small, political elite and their minions. - Stefan Molyneux

You can tell just by the use of language, 6 year old’s don’t talk or write that way.
“SCHOOL SHOOTER” is the give away phrase.
Plus; contrary to what the cartoon drawer wanted to portray, it demonstrates the NEED FOR GOOD PEOPLE TO HAVE GUNS.
Bad guy had gun and killed all the good guys.

I used to think the same till I realized the “artist” was “Chuckie Bloomer”, a take off on Chukie Schumer! Besides, no 6 year old could write like that!

It was easy to see the messages that are actually being sent, and they are pro self defense and pro Second Amendment.

People without guns get killed.

I suspect that “Chuckie Bloomer” is a combination of Chuck Schumer and Michael Bloomberg.

Love your tag line, (I actually have a file I made based on your tag line) thought you and the readers may enjoy the following:

The Kennedy's what good are they?

The Kennedy's: can’t drive, alcoholism, can’t fly, can’t ski, can’t skipper a boat, can’t tell the truth - but they know what’s best for us.

Can’t drive: Ted Kennedy, Chappaquiddick, drove his car off a bridge {Friday, July 18, 1969} in Chappaquiddick Island, fatally trapping his passenger, Mary Jo Kopechne inside car he left behind. In his Friday, July 25, 1969, televised statement, Kennedy stated that on the night of the incident he wondered "whether some awful curse did actually hang over all the Kennedys.

See also Monday, August 13, 1973 – Joseph P. Kennedy II was the driver of a car which crashed. His passenger, Pam Kelley, was permanently paralyzed.

Alcoholism: Ted Kennedy.

April 25, 1984 – David Kennedy died of a Demerol and Cocaine overdose in a Palm Beach, Florida hotel room.

Patricia "Pat" Kennedy Lawford (May 6, 1924 – September 17, 2006) was an American socialite and the sixth of nine children of Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr. and Rose Fitzgerald, sister to President John F. Kennedy, Senators Robert F. Kennedy and Edward M. Kennedy.

After her divorce, Kennedy battled alcoholism and suffered from tongue cancer.

We have seen many evidences that this politician (Patrick Kennedy, son of late Ted Kennedy) has struggled with alcohol, prescription pain drug addiction and bipolar disorder. And after recent event many people fear that we will see another downward spiral from Rep. Patrick Kennedy. Vodka shots were a bad idea!

Can’t fly: On Friday, July 16, 1999, John F. Kennedy, Jr. died when the Piper Saratoga light aircraft he was flying crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) ruled the crash was caused by: "the pilot's failure to maintain control of his airplane during a descent over water at night, which was a result of spatial disorientation".[1] The NTSB and other aviation professionals also cited numerous interrelated factors that may have contributed to the crash.

Can’t ski: Wednesday, December 31, 1997 – Michael Kennedy died in a skiing accident in Aspen, Colorado.

Can’t skipper a boat: Robert Fitzgerald Kennedy

The most famous collision in U.S. Navy history occurred at about 2:30 a.m. on Monday, August 2, 1943, a hot, moonless night in the Pacific...

PT-109 was a PT boat (Patrol Torpedo boat) last commanded by Lieutenant, junior grade (LTJG) John Fitzgerald "Jack" Kennedy (later 35th President of the United States, {1961-1963}) .....

Can’t tell the truth: Ted Kennedy, Chappaquiddick, oh and the released letters from the Regarding Senator Kennedy’s request to the General Secretary of the Communist Party Comrade Y.V. Andropov See full letter here: http://sweetness-light.com/archive/kgb-letter-details-ted-kennedys-offer-to-help-ussr#.UNjaGDOj164

Of course Ted Kennedy has always been the willing stooge of any enemy of this country.

But it is fitting that we should remember this perfidy at the close of 2006. May it strengthen our country’s resolve to try to prevent — or at least expose — his and others’ sedition in the future. Nevertheless, sedition remains a crime in the United States under 18 U.S.C.A.

- but they know what’s best for us.
