Saudi Arabia replenished Syrian rebels with one effective weapon against the Assad regime
Business Insider ^ | 10/09/15 | Jeremy Bender

A Saudi Arabian official has reportedly disclosed that the Sunni kingdom sent Syrian rebels a new batch of one of the most effective weapons for battling against the Assad regime this week.

BBC correspondent Frank Gardner tweeted that a Saudi official confirmed the delivery of 500 TOW antitank missiles to the Free Syrian Army (FSA).

The FSA is currently being squeezed from all directions by the Syrian military, Russian airstrikes, and competition from jihadist fighters, including ISIS.

The delivery of the TOW missiles — which have also been provided by the CIA — will increase the capabilities of the FSA against Syrian armor, and it would enable them to more effectively battle against Assad's recent military advances.

"Five hundred TOWs is not an inconsequential number," Jeffrey White, a defense fellow at The Washington Institute, told Business Insider.

Oh yeah our so called “friends” the Saudis once again are resupplying ISIS.

And people still wonder how ISIS gets all those U.S. weapons and brand new Toyotas.

Ok, but this is just a anti-tank weapon. So far, I haven’t seen much Syrian military movement with tanks. It’s been a helicopter and fighter operation....with light infantry.

If I were the Russians looking at the introduction....I’d go ahead and decide that Saudi Arabia is a ‘problem’. If you ask me....this will simply get more folks involved and make the mess twice as bad as it currently seems.

Saudi Arabia is openly funding and supporting the terrorist that attacked us on September 11th, 2001.

WIKI- Means “Edit”

That means ANYONE can Edit it. Probably done by a Saudi Arabia or a Traitor trying to confuse everyone.

There are NO MODERATES in Syria. That’s B.S. Even the military has addmitted that. They only trained 9 people with 500 million dollars!

They are all ISIS formerly FSA (Free Syrian Army), formerly Al-Qaeda and formerly Mujahideen.

They all have the same Black Battle Flag.

The FSA is the CIA trained and equipped army. They’re not ISIS even if Putin and Assad say they are.

The Pentagon’s train and equip mission failed. It’s not the same group or line of effort as the CIA one. You can believe otherwise if it suits your purposes. You can believe Putin is there too for altruistic reasons. But he’s not.

From Aug 23, 2015:

"a recent investigation conducted by Novaya Gazeta, one of the few independent newspapers left in Russia, complicates this cozy tale of counterterrorist cooperation. Based on extensive fieldwork in one village in the North Caucasus, reporter Elena Milashina has concluded that the “Russian special services have controlled” the flow of jihadists into Syria, where they have lately joined up not only with ISIS but other radical Islamist factions.

In other words, Russian officials are adding to the ranks of terrorists which the Russian government has deemed a collective threat to the security and longevity of its dictatorial ally on the Mediterranean, Bashar al-Assad."

Understanding Provocation [Provokatsiya]

March 29, 2014

One of the most powerful tools the Kremlin has in its secret arsenal of Special War is provocation, what they call provokatsiya.

While Moscow cannot claim to have invented this technique, which has existed as long as there have been secret services, there’s no doubt that Russians have perfected the art and taken it to a whole new level of sophistication and deviousness. At times, it can become a strategy all on its own (not always, mind you, with edifying results).

Provokatsiya simply means taking control of your enemies in secret and encouraging them to do things that discredit them and help you. You plant your own agents provocateurs and flip legitimate activists [in this case, dupe actual Jihadis -ETL], turning them to your side.

When you’re dealing with extremists to start with, getting them to do crazy, self-defeating things isn’t often difficult. In some cases, you simply create extremists and terrorists where they don’t exist. This is causing problems in order to solve them, and since the Tsarist period, Russian intelligence has been known to do just that.

While this isn’t a particularly nice technique, it works surprisingly well, particularly if you don’t care about bloody and messy consequences. ..."

No the FSA is ISIS. They were formerly known as Al-Qaeda.

Anyhow, they are Saudi Arabia’s Proxy Army. Much like the French Foreign Legion is France’s Proxy Army.

Saudi Arabia attacked us on September 11th, 2001. 15 of the 19 Hijackers were from Saudi Arabia and OBL was a Saudi.

I say we go to war to war with Saudi Arabia. They can pay for it too with their DAM oil!

Make no mistake Saudi Arabia IS the enemy. They attacked us on September 11th, 2001 and killed over 3,000 Americans.

Right. They attacked us because bin Laden choose Saudis to carry out his attack so naive people would believe it was the Saudis government that attacked us. Then, they've allowed the USA to use its airbases to attack our common enemies because the Saudi government wanted to lose a ton of its money when the US economy contracted after 9/11.

You know most of these weird conspiracy theories fit better with the Left Wing fringe. By the way, did you know George Bush is related to the Saudi Royal family and to bin Laden?

The poster added ISIS to the title. The Russians have only drooped one bomb on ISIS. The FSA took out 18 tanks the other day. Assad was purchases oil from ISIS and Russia has been fibbing about who they are bombing.

That article is the only one of it’s kind from the Daily Beast that WORSHIPS Obama. If you want to believe Obama Worshipers, then go right ahead.

They are just muddling waters to confuse everyone and try to paint him into some sort of hero.

The Saudi’s do not deny trying to fund they call the “FSA”.

So if the Daily Beast is correct, then they are supplying Russia. LOL!

Absolute nonsense!

This article is not denied by Saudi Arabia? So I don’t understand how you are saying this is fake? It’s admitted because they can’t hide it.

But they are trying to pull the WOOL OVER YOUR EYES and PRETENDING there is a Moderate Force.

Total Horse $hit! They are all f*cking raidical butchers!

Please show me photos of the Freedom Loving For Everyone, Christian Loving, Pro American, Women’s Rights “MODERATE” Free Syrian Army.

With cameras on every phone today. This should be easy to do.

But you will not find them because there are no “moderates”.

Why did Obama do this if they are all about freedom???? They are not and they have been caught LYING once again.

Oh so Saudi was best friends with Iraq?????

Did you forget Saudi Arabia did not get along with Iraq?

They needed our military to do their dirty work in the Middle East and get Iraq out. They tried to get us to do it in 91, but Bush senior would not do it.

He said it would create a vacuum in the Middle East and make it unstable. Bush Senior was right about Iraq in 1991.

Now we have Iran, Iraq, Russia and Syria all Allies.

I remember when it was the military’s mission to keep Russia out of the Middle East. Well that’s too late now.

Oh yeah, I'm sure, and they'll use them alongside the "thousands of MANPADS" smuggled out of Libya to Syria after Gaddafy fell. Really reliable source too.

The FSA is the CIA trained and equipped army

And that makes it okay? If they're fighting anyone but ISIS, they're the problem that the US created.
