They remind me of myself many years ago in my dear, dim past. I had written a novel, which I put into competition with several others. I knew it was a very good story and I was sure I would win first place. The judges began announcing honorable mention wins first...guess who got honorable mention? But I had so convinced myself that I had already won, that I didn’t hear the ‘honorable mention’ part. I heard my name, jumped to my feet, ran to the podium with a big grin, and only as I got there did I realize I wasn’t the winner...but my brain had convinced me that I was. That is what the media is doing here...they have already convinced themselves that Trump’s numbers would fail and he should be out by now, and they just can’t deviate from the script because they’re so convinced that it’s SO...has to be!

I just read somewhere that it is Rubio’s to lose. He is perfectly positioned to step in where Jeb and Walker failed, scoop up their support and surge.
Meanwhile, Trump is beating them like rented red-headed step mules. A fair number of pundits are slowly but surely losing their minds over Trump’s continued dominance. He’s breaking all known rules yet still winning, and it’s frying the MSM’s collective brain.
