It’s much more than psychotropic drugs. Legal, commonly-prescribed drugs are just as bad, if not worse. Boys, especially, are more frequently given Ritalin at an early age and it’s not uncommon for them to transition to an antidepressant at a later age - frequently in their early teens. While no doctor who values his future would ever make such a claim in public, many believe that long-term use of Ritalin, followed by the use of antidepressants “chemically tears their brains apart”.
Reminds me of the adage, “When you’re within seconds of losing your life, the police are only 10 minutes away.”
As long as we have crime we will need guns. As long as there are criminals on the street we will need guns.
