Hillary aide paid by private firm to stage event with Bill Clinton while at State (Huma)

While still working at the State Department, Hillary Rodham Clinton confidant Huma Abedin was paid by the private consulting firm Teneo Holdings to help stage a star-studded reception that included her boss’ husband, Bill Clinton, along with George W. Bush and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair as speakers just days after the Benghazi tragedy, The Washington Times has learned.

Ms. Abedin’s work on the Sept. 20, 2012 event at the glamorous Essex House in New York City helped entertain potential Teneo clients, wowing them with access to three former world leaders on a single stage.

It was one of the specific projects she worked on with Teneo during a seven-month period in which she earned a $15,000-a-month consulting fee from the firm while simultaneously receiving pay as a “special government employee” (SGE) advising Mrs. Clinton at the State Department, according to interviews and documents.

Ms. Abedin, the wife of former New York Rep. Anthony Weiner, had worked as a fulltime government employee and deputy chief of staff to Secretary of State Clinton from 2009 through mid-2012. She then moved to New York and transitioned to a part-time employee at State after giving birth to her first child and seeing her husband resign his congressional seat because of a sexting scandal.

The SGE status at the State Department allowed Ms. Abedin to simultaneously take on other consulting work, as with Teneo and the Clinton Foundation, where she assessed the charity’s ongoing programs to pave the way for Mrs. Clinton’s return there after she left the State Department in early 2013.

Judiciary Chair, Sen Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) has been pressing the State Department to answer questions over Abedin’s lucrative govt job arrangement.

Sen Grassley wrote in a June 13 letter, “It appears that Teneo Strategies may have been compensating Ms. Abedin for gathering information from government sources for the purpose of informing investment decisions of her consulting clients - or in other words, political intelligence. This raises important questions about whether Abedin’s dual role was adequately disclosed to government officials who may have provided her information without realizing that she was being paid by private investors to gather information.”

Grassley’s letter recounted:

<><> Abedin allegedly sent or received more than 7,000 emails on her US government account that involved Teneo’s Doug Band, a close confidante and travel companion of the globe-trotting Bill clinTon;

<><> one email exchange involved Teneo’s Doug Band pressuring Abedin to encourage her State Department boss, Hillary Clinton, to facilitate a White House appointment for one of his clients. Judith Rodin, then-president of the Rockefeller Foundation, “donated hundreds of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation,” Mr. Band allegedly noted in his email to Ms. Abedin.

<><> email evidence allegedly suggests that Ms. Abedin and another Hillary aide, Cheryl Mills,colluded to ensure US taxpayers paid for Ms. Abedin’s travel to and from New York.”

<><> multiple allegations received by the Judiciary Committee indicated Abedin had actually taken leave during her time as a govt employee, casting doubt on whether Abedin should have received $33,000 in taxpayer money.

<><> allegations surfaced that the State Dept personnel rule was quietly bent to permit Abedin to collect her government paycheck while wielding her influence to the benefit of her other employers.

<><> Hillary Clinton jetted to Ireland with Abedin at her side for her last official trip before exiting the State Dept, during which Hillary attended an event hosted by a major Clinton Foundation donor that had been promoted by Teneo (for which Abedin then-served as a “consultant”)

<><> Abedin’s special employment status gave her heavy influence over Hillary Clinton’s State Dept daily schedule and travel plans at the same time Abedin served as a senior adviser at Teneo, and performed other duties at the Clinton Foundation.

<><> Abedin using information about Hillary’s travel schedule in discussions w/ her clients, could be a serious breach of US ntl security, since even the calendar amd travel plans of the Secy of State is considered classified information.

<><> Abedin was among several key aides to Hillary Clinton that hosted email accounts on a private server in the 2016 presidential candidate’s Chappaqua, New York home, in violation of federal records laws.

REFERENCE Abedin worked as a full-time staffer to Hillary Clinton January 2009-June 2012; she was then given a “special government employee” designation and took on roles at the Clinton Foundation and as a private consultant-—one of her clients was Teneo Strategies, a global firm counselling companies on financial deals...... w/ Bill Clinton as a board member.

Clinton was also slobbering at the Teneo trough-—Jon Corzine employed him at $50,000 per month-—before the Corzine company went belly-up.

Abedin’s special status is designed to allow individuals who fill “an unmet government need for rare or unique expertise” to retain their private-sector positions while receiving compensation from the government.

Abedin is currently vice-chair of Hillary’s presidential campaign committee.

EXCERPT: Bill told Jake Tapper that then-Secy of State Hillary "never looked at his Foundation donor list" (when making official decisions--which largely benefited donors).

BILL CLINTON: "The Clinton Foundation never rewarded donors with political favors and accusations to the contrary are “personal attacks” that prove other politicians are scared of Hillary. Nobody even suggested it or talked about it or thought about it until the political season began."

But Clinton also could not guarantee that foreign donors to the Clinton Foundation weren’t expecting favors in return.

NOTE WELL Wall Street analyst, Charles Ortel found “irregularities” of a “sufficient magnitude” that the Clinton Foundation should be shut down.

Ortel says “if any of the 50 state attorneys general present this evidence to a federal district judge, an injunction would be ordered, shutting down the Clinton Foundation and placing the organization in receivership.”

CONCLUSION A good start might be AG's in the 26 states that were recently victorious---bringing charges against vote-crazed Obama's suck-up to illegals.
