Back in the Fifties, my parents and friends held revolving bridge parts. Several card tables with everyone drinking highballs an smoking. When the parties were over at my house, my Dad would ask me to fire up my 7th grade Science Class project, a 500,000 volt Van de Graaf generator. Made a lot of ozone, and cleared the house of smoke quickly! And it was fun!

If we had a congress that was not totally worthless, they’d nip this off in the bud.

Absolutely, they’d have already put the brakes to this tyrannical agency as well as the turkey in the WH.

Outlaw lawn mowing?

What will the (evil) HOA’s say to —that—?

So, they would get together once in a while and assemble a complete revolving bridge? What exactly is a revolving bridge?

Ohio has it’s own EPA and Public Utilities Commission. We don’t and shouldn’t be controlled by DC!

The courts will not allow this. We just need someone with enough guts to take it to court.

The courts have always said that you must balance risk of harm to the cost of cure.

EPA has had a free ride to date.

” What exactly is a revolving bridge?

Oh come on! You knew what I meant even with the typos. I wish FR had an edit button, as I’m a terrible typist, and really hate these flat, low-button keypads!” They have no “feel” to them!

It is long past time to make EPA “social scientists” (none qualify to be even grade school science teachers) worry at night.

They have homes.
With addresses.
And phone numbers.
They don’t give a s**t about inconveniencing you.
Return the favor.
In spades.
Why should they sleep?
Why should they feel safe?

I know. Sorry for being snippy. Coming down with the late Summer cold that is hitting hard up here in Ohio. Sore throat out to my ears, which feel full of water! Probably picked it up at my Doc’s office mid-week. Local talk radio has been hit hard! Lots of substitute talkers!

Best joke I’ve heard all day.

I've been thinking along the same lines: Get all addresses of local LE and politicians just in case we
need to reach out and touch some of them when the midnight visits begin and our friends start disappearing.

EPA can’t have a “blank check” anymore, they need to put their regulations through a bill and have it pass and stamped by the president. I’m sick and tired of their tyranny!

It really is on Congress for delegating its power to the regulatory agencies.

Totally gutless

"The courts will not allow this"

It has already been in court. Obama in under court order to set the new standard by Oct 1.

Under Bush, the science advisory committee said that the Ozone standard needed to be lowered from Clinton's 80ppm to between 60 & 70 ppm, but Bush would lower it to only 75 ppm.

The enviros didn't sue Bush because he wasn't going to be in office much longer. They thought Obama would take care of but he dragged his feet so they sued him instead, and won.

So he is going to change it, but nobody knows if it will be 60, 65, or 70 ppm. It's "under review" by OMB.

Here's a more informative article

Why don't they go rein in the Forrest Service and other associated agencies which set up the abundant fuel situation that has kept our region blanketed in smoke for weeks this past summer from wildfires in states to our west?

More people in this region had more pulmonary issues, even ongoing mile allergic reactions from that than ever got sick from someone mowing their grass.
