He’s not scamming anybody. And if you think the uniparty is NOT scamming us, think again. So expound on exactly how Trump can be worse that what we have now...point by point! The fact that Trump is talking the truth about this is proof enough for me.

He screams about jobs going overseas. He needs to look in a mirror.

"He’s scamming us"

Something the other candidates would surely never do.

Most of us have a pretty good idea what Trump is, and isn't, and how that plays against issue priorities. Two biggies, immigration and "his special talent" creating jobs.

Holy Smokes!

THAT has to be one of THE great rants that I have ever read on FR, I take my hat off to you Sir!

Re: regarding JFK, I have heard from more than a few sources over the years that the 1960 election was in fact won by NIXON, but that JFK prevailed due to vote fraud in Cook County Illinois and (of course) in Texas, but Nixon refused to contest the election results because he believed (and told other GOP muckety-mucks) that America’s adversaries needed to know that there was no ambiguity or question about who the President was, and for that reason he conceded and pissed off a whole bunch of people. Nixon put our Nation’s best interest over that of his party, but he never got credit for that.

I would say also, that had Nixon contested that election, regardless of the chaos that would have resulted, that the Cuban Missile Crisis would never have happened, why?

Because Khrushchev had already taken his measure of Nixon in the infamous 1956 ‘Kitchen Debate’ and he knew that Nixon was not be trifled with. But Khrushchev’s impression of JFK was that of someone inexperienced and of uncertain resolve which is why the Soviets rolled the dice and placed those IRBM’s into Cuba. It all started with a misperception on Khrushchev’s part, and might have ended with a wholesale nuclear exchange.

As for the JFK assassination?

You have a private FReepmail on that.

KUDOS for a very fine post!!

But free trade demands open markets among all principals to work.

Absolutely false. Free trade means I, an Ameircan, am free to trade. It doesn't matter what the trade policy is of my trading partner. They need never buy a thing from me.

No, because of incredible American productivity. Nobody in the world competes on our level of labor or capital utilization, despite Democrats’ best attempts.

LOL. Trump’s policies all work to grow government and that equation looks like this:

More Government, Less Individual.

You are not free to trade if governments keep you out of the market. Don’t confuse consumers with government.

Thank you for the kind words. And, yes, Nixon did exactly as you indicated and did not get the credit he deserved.

The Cuban thing went down 3 days before I was set to go on leave from Ft. Belvoir, VA (south of DC) to get married. We went on full alert. I recall standing in a phone booth one cold, rainy night talking to my betrothed not certain we’d ever see one another again.

Again, thank you.
Be safe and well. Could get exciting here soon.

Yeah, the only guy who has mentioned about cutting entire departments wants to grow government. I guess that TDS is a might powerful affliction.

Wrong. Walker, a truly conservative man and governor proven to act conservatively, called for eliminating the NLRB and government unions. Wake me when Trump takes up that mantle.

Perry discussed cutting entire departments last go round and, forgetting at the critical moment, faded. If you recall.

Trump's a Trojan Horse. Trump is to Clinton as Perot is to Clinton.

You're making an Obama-level mistake supporting Trump. Trump loves BigGov. It's in his nature as Fred Trump was a political heavy in NYC and FedGov.

I am not free to trade on the local, county or state level in America. I’m concerned with my government, not Chinas.

What was Trump’s reaction to Walker’s position on dissolving the NLRB, ending Bacon-Davis requirements and ending government forced unionism?

Trump has a long history of supporting BigGov and since going “Republican” where has he put his money lo these last four years?

Trump the only guy who has mentioned about cutting entire departments this election cycle. NRLB is not a cabinet department and neither are unions. They are both greta things to close though. You really should get that TDS evaluated.

Nice dodge. Where does Trump stand on shuttering the NLRB and ending government forced unionism/Bacon Davis?

Also, note bene that Trump just mentions this stuff, but he's done nothing over the last four years to bring it about. But for now, just stay focused on the fact that Trump is pro-union, pro-BigGov. His entire history is of an insider who likes government services available only to insiders.

He's a master marketer and he's living insider your head. Marketers know how to do that. You know, say what you want to hear. Who else does that?

Question, can just a EO break the agreement, or does it take a act of our gutless GOP congress?

Congressional approval is required to ratify treaties. I don't know anything in the Constitution that says they have to approve ending a treaty.

It is not a “dodge”. It is the truth. I also don’t know if Trump likes Somoas or Do-Se-Dos more and I don’t care. I care more about closing the border and getting rid of the illegals than anything else. If we don’t do that everything else is meaningless because once we get an amnesty with a “pathway to citizenship”, you can forget about any conservative ever being elected President again. In my opinion your priorities are not very straight. I don’t agree with the pro big gov thing either, If you could get over your TDS for a second, you would realize that Trump the only guy who has mentioned anything about cutting entire departments this election cycle.
