Dick Morris: Trump is Right for Not Going Back to Fox

Donald Trump is making the right decision to no longer appear on the Fox News Channel because the cable network is pulling for his nemesis Jeb Bush, political analyst Dick Morris says.

"Let me say one thing that hasn't been said before on TV but I'm going to say it. Fox News is in the tank for Bush," Morris said Wednesday to Dennis Michael Lynch, guest host of "The Steve Malzberg Show." "Roger Ailes, the head of Fox News, was [President George H.W.] Bush's main guy and main strategist. I first met Roger in 1988 when he and I worked together on Bush 41's campaign and worked on the negative ads that sank [Michael] Dukakis."

"The Bush family has always been intimate with Fox News and they are protecting Jeb Bush."

On Wednesday, Trump took to his Twitter account to announce that he's decided to boycott the network, because Fox has been "very negative to me in refusing to post the great polls that came out."

Dick may have some dirty laundry from Fox, but he is correct.

Hannity better be careful. He is the only one left except maybe Judge Jeaneane on Saturday...

I’m normally a Fox watcher, but lately they’ve been really boring and out of wack. Effective immediately, I’m going to start my own boycott to support Trump.

Mr. Trump is being much too generous.

faux news’ atrocities against DT have been far more egregious than he’s letting on.

I guess he figures he’s already hit them where it hurts the most.

Trump does not need Fox. He has every other channel panting for him night and day. Let Fox feel the pain for awhile. Screw Cruella Kelly.

Fox lied and said they canceled Trump. Trump tweeted that he was not doing Fox anytime in the near future at 10:02 a.m. Fox canceled him in O’Reilly at 11:45 a.m. Fox Lies!

Yeah, but it’s like going after the guy with the water gun while ignoring all the other mobsters with machine guns.

This explains a lot. This is why Fox was only good from the late 90s up until the end of Bush’s last term.

You’re right. They would not cancel him. They are in business.
He brings ratings. Whether they like him or not, they love the bottom line.
He should not bump their ratings any more.

One America Network is superior. OAN

This is juicy gossip sort of like finding out who has been sleeping with whom. The politicians and their clique are all in bed together—politics, media, big business, sports etc. etc.

I will NEVER forget that Sat. morning, a few weeks ago, when the blonde bimbo on “FOX and Friends Saturday” had a “Freudian slip” and called Ted Cruz a clown. No reprimand, apology or anything. FOX can kiss my butt right after they kiss Donald’s goodbye. Their new slogan instead of “We report, you decide.” should be “We distort, you decide.”

Hey Donald: Buy FOX and fire ‘em all.

I think they are afraid to get Hannity because it would be too obvious and these people always want to keep a connection to Trump in case he becomes president because they will need him.

They used to have Newt Gingrich on all the time until the 2012 election. Then they crucified him relentlessly and used the same culprits. They quoted a liberal agency to knock his tax plan and would use focus groups to slam him. I documented everything they did and investigated it. They were dishonest and over the top just like they are right now with Trump. Gingrich told Greta his feelings were hurt over what people were saying about him. Trump kicks them in the nuts asap.

I always wondered how you could be fair and balanced with four or more other networks, probably 90% of the nations publication newspapers, and the majority of talking heads all pumping out leftist swill 24/7/365.

Wouldn’t a balanced presentation have to include an almost constant ultra-Conservative spin to balance out all the Leftist media advantage?

And yet FoxNews always had Leftist views, even sometimes predominantly, in their presentations.

Fair and Balanced?

More like Rarely Balanced.

As I type this I'm watching Trump live with Senator Tim Scott on OAN. The Daily Ledger is 10 times better than O'Reilly in the same time slot on OAN.
