The “no one on earth is Moslem” is a worthy goal.
The sooner the better.
I don’t really believe ellison didn’t know that what Thomas Jefferson gleaned from the koran was that the way to deal with islamist was to “kill them”. I believe ellison thought the media would ignore the truth and portray the image that ellison wanted that islam was just another religion and that most Americans were to ignorant to know better. ellison was apparently right.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.....
The more I learn about Islam, the more I believe that the muslim’s god allah is none other than Satan.
Thanks to nuclear science, major wars involving religions will not last long this time around.

Nice upbeat tune- horrifying truth.

Great Battle Cry................Roll
The 5th Congressional District of Minnesota once belonged to Jefferson? Fascinating.
Jefferson would be fascinated as well. Minnesota had no congressional representation until 1858 upon statehood. Jefferson died in 1826.
But then again, Jefferson was a Democrat. They sometimes have a way of staying actively involved in politics after they die.
This sentence jumped out at me:
No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.
Our first dance with the jihadis.
Marines remember. Not only is that struggle against Islamic pirates commemorated in the Marines’ Hymn, the Mameluke sword carried by Marine officers is a reminder of the gallantry of Lt. O’Bannon, USMC, in the capture of Derne.
There’s a 1950 movie, Tripoli, that covers the story, even if it’s fast and loose with the history. It’s a free watch on Amazon Prime Video, and worth it just to see Maureen O’Hara in a ridiculous fictional role....but it’s Maureen O’Hara in 1950, so all is forgiven in the name of eyeball liberty. Just watched it, in fact.
Besides the whitewashed, sanitized potboiler aspect of the film, something that stood out is the unabashed, totally reverential way that the US flag is treated. Almost an alien concept to modern viewers. A shame, really.
I think he lived in Russellville at the same time as John J. Crittenden, best known perhaps for the Crittenden Compromise in 1861, a last-ditch effort to keep the Union together. Crittenden died on the same day as Sam Houston. Somehow that coincidence is not as well-known as John Adams and Thomas Jefferson dying on the same day.
