Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson is catching flak for arguing that a person of Muslim faith should not occupy the Oval Office.
Carson, a leading Republican presidential candidate who often references his Christian faith, ignited the controversy Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press."
Carson said Islam is inconsistent with the Constitution and that he would not "advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation."
That comment infuriated at least two of Carson's rivals in the 2016 race. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) criticized Carson at length in a subsequent Fox News interview.
"This shows that Dr. Carson is not ready to be commander-in-chief," Graham declared. "Mr. Carson may be a good doctor but he is not ready to lead a great nation."
Graham also argued that Carson should apologize to Muslims who serve in the US armed forces.

He’s got this 100% correct. I’m wondering now how ‘teachable’ he might be on the using aborted fetuses in research because ‘they’re already dead’.
Lindsey, go back and listen to what Dr. Carson actually said. Not what the media says he said.

I don’t plan to vote for Carson, but I think he’s right.

It certainly increased my opinion of him. I'd been pretty lukewarm toward Ben since his gun grabbing comments.

Good loyal America loving Muslims should be the first to understand how dangerous their religion is.
Linda is ALWAYS on the wrong side of every issue.
Not all of us applaud Dr. Carson. The US Constitution allows a Muslim who's a natural born citizen to run for President. That was not clarified in his statement.
He also came out for a guest worker program. And he's a fan of gun control. Why would he possibly be our guy?
He should have just said, “we already have one...why do you ask this question??”

Ben is right, however Ben is not a Christian but a member of a restorationist pseudo Christian cult.
