The Scheming Marxist Architect of Obamacare, Robert Creamer, Helped Sell the Iran Deal

Looks like the Marxist architect of Obamacare also had a major say in putting forth the Iran Deal. Robert Creamer was convicted in 2005 for tax violations and bank fraud. He served time and was under house arrest. While in prison, he crafted the core underpinnings of Obamacare. Creamer is a political consultant who is very close to Barack Obama and is married to Jan Schakowsky, the Marxist Congresswoman from Illinois.

While on the inside, he wrote, Listen to Your Mother: Stand Up Straight! How Progressives Can Win. Obamacare was only the first major step in a radical Marxist battle plan. Next came Amnesty for illegal aliens, which is ongoing. Yeah, that's right... Creamer was behind that too.

Once Creamer got out of the Big House, he worked for Obama's presidential campaign, training organizers. Since then, he's quietly worked behind the scenes. His latest abhorrent push is for the Iran deal. Creamer and Obama both lay the blame of the rise of the Iranian regime on the U.S. They believe that by overthrowing the Iranian government in 1953 and backing the Shah, we empowered the Iranian Mullahs and the rise of radical Islam there.

With the help and guidance of the radical Ploughshares Fund, Creamer advocated for the Iranian deal. Ploughshares Fund is a pro-Iranian group that donates millions to Progressive causes. They are against nuclear weapons and claim the Iranian farce will stop a nuclear arms race. Instead, it guarantees the opposite and war. ..... < snip >

Creamer also claimed that the $150 billion being given to Iran from Obama, will be used to bolster their economy. When asked if it would go to terrorism, he slithered around the question and stated they were doing that anyway. In the end, the dynamic Marxist duo of Robert Creamer and Jan Schakowsky helped push the Iran deal through. They threatened other Democrats and came up with rhetoric that was upside down and backwards to sell the deal.

He is definitely an Alinsky torch-bearer: his other opus, Progressive Agenda for Structural Change, identifies 10 point plan for implementing universal health care.

In the Acknowledgements section of Stand Up Straight! How Progressives Can Win (published in 2007) Creamer stated that his political views had been deeply influenced by "the legendary community organizer" Saul Alinsky.

Was Grubber in on it too?

Was Grubber in on it too? Gruber's job was complementary. It was Robert Creamer that provided the foundation and "moral case" for ACA to Democrats, and later helped train organizers on selling points; Gruber used his pseudo-statistical simulation model to provide flawed justification and the fudged costs of ACA to fool CBO with "tortured numbers":

-----------

Rep. Schakowsky's husband, Robert Creamer, used to be the leader of Citizen Action/Illinois. He also founded its predecessor, Illinois Public Action, in which Ms. Schakowsky served as Program Director. He runs a political consulting firm, the Strategic Consulting Group, which lists ACORN and the SEIU among its clients and which made $541,000 working for disgraced former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich.

Creamer resigned from Citizen Action/Illinois after the FBI began investigating him for bank fraud and tax evasion at Illinois Public Action. He was convicted in 2006 and sentenced to five months in federal prison in Terre Haute, Indiana, plus eleven months of house arrest.

-----------

(From HuffPo) :

Robert Creamer has been a political organizer and strategist for four decades. He and his firm, Democracy Partners, work with many of the country's most significant issue campaigns. He was one of the major architects and organizers of the successful campaign to defeat the privatization of Social Security. He has been a consultant to the campaigns to end the war in Iraq, pass universal health care, pass Wall Street reform, change America's budget priorities and enact comprehensive immigration reform. He has also worked on hundreds of electoral campaigns at the local, state and national level — and served as a consultant to the DNC and President Obama's campaigns in 2008 and 2012. Creamer is married to Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky from Illinois. Arianna Huffington calls his book, Stand Up Straight: How Progressives Can Win, a master's class in electoral politics.

-----------

(From Petterico) :

Because it's the number-crunching that allowed the law's authors to write it in a way that would fool the CBO and the American people. And he was paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to do this. .....

As the agency put it, "Dr. Gruber developed a proprietary statistically sophisticated micro-simulation model that has the flexibility to ascertain the distribution of changes in health care spending and public and private sector health care costs due to a large variety of changes in health insurance benefit design, public program eligibility criteria, and tax policy."

The model, the Gruber Microsimulation Model, is the coin of the realm, in large part because it is similar to the model used by the Congressional Budget Office. That means administration policy-makers could predict with reasonable certainty how CBO would score legislation. Given that legislation in Washington often falls or rises depending on the CBO score, that made this model a very powerful tool for administration officials.

So it's clear that part of his job was to disguise the cost of the plan by running models similar to what CBO runs. Remember when he said that "this bill was written in a tortured way to make sure" the Congressional Budget Office "did not score the mandate as taxes"? He was right there with the lawmakers, crunching numbers and working with them to make sure that the language of the law was "tortured" to take advantage of what he calls "the stupidity of the American voter."

Dr. Quentin Young, Longtime Obama Confidante and Physician to MLK [Martin Luther King]

FROM "THE OBAMA FILE"...
RE: QUENTIN YOUNG

The primary figure who delivered Obama to the single-payer camp was Quentin Young, an 86-year-old retired physician who was a longtime friend and neighbor of Obama in Chicago.  Young joined the Young Communist League as a teenager in the late 1930s.  From the mid-1940s through the mid-1970s, he was closely associated with the Communist Party.  In October 1968 he was called to testify before the House Un-American Activities Committee, which was probing the extent of his knowledge about the riots that had erupted at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago two months earlier.  The Committee accused Young of belonging to the Bethune Club, an organization for communist doctors; the group was named after Norman Bethune, a communist physician who devoted his services to the totalitarian regime of Mao Zedong

Dr. Young was active in the radical movements of the Sixties and Seventies and led a small delegation to Communist North Vietnam in 1972.  In the late 1970s, Young became associated with a Marxist organization known as the New American Movement, which was initially convened by Michael Lerner, an America-hating radical who counseled young people to explore the use of LSD and other hallucinogenic drugs as portals to a greater comprehension of socialist principles.

In 1980 Young founded the Health and Medicine Policy Research Group, a single-payer lobby group whose Board of Directors he chairs to this day.  In 1982 Young helped establish the Democratic Socialists of America, which, as the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International, asserts that "many structures of our government and economy must be radically transformed."  In 1987 Young co-founded Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP), a single-payer advocacy organization where he currently serves as national coordinator. In PNHP’s view, government-run healthcare "should be financed by truly progressive taxation."

In 1995 Young attended the now-famous meeting at the Hyde Park home of former Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, where Barack Obama was first introduced to influential locals as the hand-picked successor to Alice Palmer, a pro-Soviet radical who planned to vacate her Illinois State Senate seat in pursuit of a higher elected office.  Young quickly became a friend and political ally of Obama, teaching the latter about the merits of single-payer healthcare.

In a 2009 interview with Amy Goodman of Democracy Now!, Young reminisced about the germination of his ideological kinship with the young Obama:

"Barack Obama, in those early days [as a state senator] -- influenced, I hope, by me and others -- categorically said single payer was the best way, and he would inaugurate it if he could get the support, meaning [Democratic] majorities in both houses, which he’s got, and the presidency, which he’s got.  And he said that on more than one occasion…."

Another noteworthy influence on Obama’s views vis à vis healthcare has been Dr. Peter Orris, who co-founded Physicians for a National Health Program with Quentin Young.  The son of a Communist Party member, Orris in the 1960s was a leader of Harvard University’s campus chapter of Students for a Democratic Society, the New Leftist organization that aspired to overthrow America’s democratic institutions and remake the nation’s government in a Marxist image.  He later joined the Communist Party (CP) for more than two decades, before ultimately shifting his allegiance to the CP splinter group, Committees of Correspondence, where he remains a prominent figure to this day.

An admirer of Fidel Castro, Young is proud that two of his children traveled to Cuba as members of the Venceremos Brigades to cut sugar cane and pick oranges. (The Venceremos Brigades were organized by Castro's Cuban intelligence agency, which trained "brigadistas" in guerrilla warfare techniques, including the use of arms and explosives.)

* Longtime supporter of communist causes
* Was active in the anti-war and civil rights movements of the 1960s
* Helped establish the Democratic Socialists of America
* Co-founded Physicians for a National Health Program, an advocacy organization that lobbies on behalf of a single-payer, government-run healthcare system

Democracy Partners:

Creative Strategies ...
We believe to win the battle we have to combine the most recent campaign and communications technology with old-fashioned nuts-and-bolts organizing.

Relentless Advocacy ...
We believe that if the path to victory is not obvious - our job is to find it. Persistence, discipline, intensity, focus, staying the offensive, forcing the opponent to play on our turf, conducting the debate in our message frame, no excuses, no whining.

Powerful Messaging ...
We believe that our messages won’t matter if they don’t break through the clutter. We tell stories, create narratives, use powerful symbols. We believe that great messaging succeeds when people can taste, smell, hear and visualize what we’re communicating - not just think about it.

Democracy Partners - Robert Creamer’s group.

I was trying to place the info where I could access it easily in case they shut down their website. I finally just pasted info into Word docs and saved to my computer.

Here’s their website. Lots of recognizable client names as well as partner names..James Carville, Christine Pelosi to name a couple.
