My choice for a woman on the Ten Dollar Bill?

Lady Liberty. But she would have to take a HUGE demotion.

Ted Cruz was closest. Hamilton stays. Replace Jackson with....Phyllis Schafley.

Unstated reason for the choice?

She’s a twofer and keeps the GOP from having to fight off Obama or another black going on another bill in a few years.

Oh HELL No.

Rand was a Godless Liberal. I’d sooner take Rosa Parks over her.

Phyllis Schlafly is still alive, so she isn't eligible.

Maybe replace Andy Jackson with Rachel Donelson Jackson. Of course she was never First Lady since she died between the election and when Jackson was sworn in.

Abigail Adams isn't a bad choice. Or Pocahontas. Or Sequoyah. Or Chief Joseph.

But I think they should leave them as they are now--not make a change because some activists thought it was an issue they could get people worked up over.

Stupid liberal question, I doubt anyone had given this any thought prior to being asked, I think Paul was the first to answer and he gave the politically correct answer Rosa Parks, some others followed suit.

Only Jeb gave the answer that was in line with the stupidity of question, he chose Thatcher saying he didn’t know if it would be legal or some such nonsense but thinking he could pick up points being at the Reagan Library and everybody loves her, when he got no response but laughter he giggled like a little girl.

The Rosa Parks incident wasn’t spontaneous.

It was planned, staged, and executed and became the subject of black culture lore provided by the MSM.

Maybe replace Andy Jackson with Rachel Donelson Jackson.

Or Michael Jackson.

"...Or Sequoyah. Or Chief Joseph."

Hmmm, replace Jackson with an American Indian. I like it!

Rosa Parks would be problematic. She spent her latter years living in Detroit, and when I lived in Michigan she would turn up from time to time in the local news as the victim of muggings or break-ins at the hands of young black thugs, who obviously had no idea who she was.

An eternal reminder of black-on-black crime on the currency? I don’t see them doing it.

>> we should return to the representation of lady liberty on coins and currency instead of showing real people <<

Interesting thought. Although I like seeing the pictures of George Washington, Abe Lincoln, Alex Hamilton and Ben Franklin on our currency, I think it would be good to consider replacing Andy Jackson with Lady Liberty, plus replacing U. S. Grant with Lady Justice.

(Thomas Jefferson? Leave him on the nickle, but maybe replace him on the two dollar bill with a race horse?)
