Hungary halts rail traffic in bid to stop migrants [stop the hijra?]

Overwhelmed by thousands of asylum-seekers, Hungarian authorities Tuesday briefly halted rail traffic from their nation’s main train station, the latest blow to a borderless movement in Europe.

Police authorities triggered chaos when they shuttered Budapest’s grand fin-de-siecle train station for hours on Tuesday, stopping rail traffic for all passengers while they worked to clear crowds of hundreds of migrants who had gathered at the station. The move prompted angry chanting from asylum-seekers desperate to move onward to Austria and Germany, many of whom had already purchased tickets for hundreds of euros.

They need to start distributing live ammo and break out the armored vehicles.

It is not enough. They need to watch for infiltrators on foot. Maybe break out the helicopter gunships, too.

Sad—Budapest is a great city.

Tourism will go kaput if this mess isn’t taken care of.

I saw they had police helicopters operating yesterday, if they’ve got the vehicles with the mounted machine-guns in place for tomorrow, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re not thinking of the helicopter gunships.

Budapest is wonderful I agree.

It became a single city in 1873, occupying both banks of the Danube, Buda on the West and Pest on the East.

Buda was the former capital of The Kingdom of Hungary, 1000-1946, and Pest is the Eastern flat part of the city. Although Pest was an independent city in it’s own right, historical archives date the city of Pest’s independence back to 1148.

But the two unified in 1873 and became Budapest....the Hungarian Parliament is on the Pest side of the Danube

Tourism will go kaput if this mess isn’t taken care of.

That will be the case for Europe in general.

Glad I've already visited.

Only Hungary gets it at the moment.

The rest of the European police are trying to deal with the Muslim horde in a rational way. Civilised and sophisticated Europe is trying to deal with these savages in a civilised and sophisticated way, obvlious to the fact that one cannot deal with savages in a civilised and sophiscated way.

Hungary gets it, the only way you can deal with savages is by taking the gloves off and going hardcore on them.

Unless the rest of Europe deals with the savages in the only way they understand, then we’re doomed.

Hungary was under Moslem rule from 1526 to 1699. There is a good reason why they “get it”.

Yes, they were. It’s completely understandable therefore why Hungary are so adamant they don’t want them in, also why Hungary are trying to protect the rest of Europe from them.

Was there a few months ago.

You have to do the evening Danube cruise while all of the buildings are lit up, just incredible.

I love Budapest, a beautiful city.

Can you imagine the Muslim horde even appreciating something as sublime as seeing the buildings lit up from the Danube?

The Muslim horde want those wonderful buildings lit up in a radically different manner, ie. by blowing them up.

We were planning to visit BudaPest, Vienna and Prague this spring, but not until the Europeans get their collective suicidal heads out of their asses.
