I’m just astonished at how many pro Establishment/Uniparty people are on FR lately. Angry, too, when their plans are revealed; usually either PDS ers or TDS ers.
Maybe they are. Not much to gain by it though.
Good conspiracy theories involve some kind of motive or benefit though.

The why is so they can use it to set "context" for the discussion tonight, either in the framing of a question or in the post-debate discussion.
Example 1: Q: Mr. Trump, do you think your recent statements about [_____] are causing voters to leave you, as evidenced by the recent surge by Dr. Carson?
Example 2: Well, Wolf, I'd say that the answers given by Donald Trump tonight are the reason why we're seeing a sudden shift by voters to Dr. Carson.
