Walker’s Pro-Life Obamacare Alternative
Weekly Standard ^ | September 15, 2015 | Jeffrey H. Anderson

One of the worst things about Obamacare is that it provides taxpayer funding of abortion. This is one of the nearly countless reasons why Obamacare must be repealed, and it’s one of the core reasons why it is crucial for Republican presidential candidates to show they have an alternative that would lead to repeal. So far, only Scott Walker has stepped up in this regard. For pro-life voters, this should matter greatly.

From Walker's August 18, 2015 speech unveiling plan linked above:

".....As I mentioned, the first part is just repealing Obamacare entirely.

And some people said, “How are you going to do that? You know, you’ve got a Congress out there.”

Well, it’s pretty simple. To me, the ways we make sure this happens right away. Because we’ve got to repeal Obamacare entirely. Lock, stock, and barrel. We’ve got to repeal every part of it. Every part of it, including the parts that Nancy Pelosi didn’t bother to read before she voted on it. We’ve got to repeal it all.

And I’ve talked to reformers like Paul Ryan and Tom Price and Mike Lee and others out there. You know what? They’re ready. They’re ready to work with us to pass reforms as soon as possible. ASAP.

But we need to have a little bit of an incentive out there to do that and so for me the great way to motivate the Congress, to pass the reforms we’re talking about, is to make sure that they have to live under the same Obamacare rules that the rest of America has been put under over the last few years. Right?

So on my very first day, I will issue an executive order that will pull back on a special deal that President Obama provided for Congress.

You know, they got pulled out of this like they often exempt themselves from other things when it comes to other laws out there.

We’re going to do an executive order that gets rid of the deal that President Obama put in place – the special deal for Congress – and make them live under the same conditions.

I think once they’re susceptible to the Obamacare premium increases that so many Americans have been under over the last few years, I have a pretty good idea that that’s going to light a fire under Congress to get things moving right away.

A lot of candidates talk about repealing Obamacare. We’ve actually got a plan to make sure Congress acts on the reforms right away because they’re going to have to live under the same rules that everyone else in America does going forward.

So the next part is once we get established that we’re going to repeal Obamacare in its entirety, the next screen up here I’ll show you what we’re going to do and that’s about ensuring affordability and accessibility for everyone when it comes to health insurance.

We want affordable and accessible health insurance for everyone in America......" Source

With Trump in there the direction of the vision as to what direction this country should take is not about principles of conservatisim it’s all about ME (personalities). All he’s been doing has been reafiriming some of which what we know what’s wrong. He hasn’t and won’t discuss the massive cultural changes and how we must go about bringing them back. And when he does offer his ideas. They are hardly conservative in fact they’re scarey.

How ‘bout ‘make them live under the same rules they pass’. PERIOD?!

Yep another, ‘let’s not go CRAZY now...’ 1/2-@ss attempt.

Are we all not equal under the Law in this country? /rhetorical, I know

The question is now moot. He’s out of the race. Maybe somebody else can adopt his plan.

Yep, you can remove me from the list.

I am not in WI anymore so it doesn’t make sense for me to follow it anymore.

It was a fun ride for awhile there so I do thank you.
