Chris Matthews Praises Rudy and Calls Sirhan the 'First Terrorist'

A few months ago, I took some flack in these quarters for suggesting that, his annoying liberalism aside, Chris Matthews is in his heart an American patriot.
That same patriotic proclivity displayed itself tonight. On the anniversary of 9-11, Matthews profusely praised his guest Rudy Giuliani for his leadership on that day. And in a spontaneous aside, Matthews called RFK's assassin, the Palestinian Sirhan B. Sirhan, "the first terrorist." Can you imagine Rachel Maddow—or Barack Obama for that matter—doing the same?

Matthews - all i can think of is: draft dodger.
He graduated college in 1967.
Was out of deferments.
He was still of draft age. (22 ish)
Joined the Peace Corps in 1968 - 1970.

I remember Chris in his better days. Of course, the times have deteriorated and for the paycheck, so did Chris. I suspect he is well past his leg’s chill bumps for Obama and the Greek columns, but the old Chris must have popped up, with Rudy on this sad memorial evening for 911.
I fear he will be back to drawing the pay check for the other 364 days of the year starting tomorrow.
You know his brother is an active Republican, a county chairman, I believe, at one time.
