Ten shootings, 11 days, all along one small, busy stretch of Interstate-10 through downtown Phoenix.
And no suspects, and no end in sight -- yet.
Fresh off another shooting Wednesday, the head of the Arizona Department of Public Safety called ending this spree "job one" for his and partner agencies. But to do so, he said, the public may need to help.
"Somebody is very aware of who this is," Col. Frank Milstead said. "... There should be no benevolence for this person, or apathy. This is a cold-blooded crime. This person is a coward."

How can you catch this person unless someone sees them in the act? What would the motive be? I just don’t understand it.
So it takes 10 events for the police or the media to notice something odd is happening? /rhetoricall
It is frightening that this statement can be made so casually. This is not what we are supposed to be. We are... or were... a nation of laws, and statements like this simply invite the public to do bad things to anyone that they suspect might be involved... whether the suspicion is warranted or not, true or not. Incredibly stupid.

Something similar happened back in the 80’s in Southern California on the I-5.

Are there any refugees in the area?
Did they ever catch that person?
Why choose an interstate? If they actually want to kill someone, why not a surer location? How can you defend against something like this?
This happened in Kansas City last spring and it was pretty scary driving the interstates since these attacks occurred at random times of the day and night.

The “authorities” (chief moose, the racist) said in WDC at the time of the snipers that it was white guys in a white van. The police ignored the 2 black moozlums who killed even more people before being caught by a white trucker. Great police work. What a pathetic joke. Be safe.
Six states have similar problems. Two were killed in Colorado. One woman was shot in the neck. They are trying to blame “road debris” for breaking side windows. Up north the FBI has issued a warning for military families to be on the lookout for middle eastern men harassing families. Three churches in Ft. Collins were heavily vandalized. There is a major Somali community in Greeley. The government must have some agreement with the Muslims to not use the word TERRORISTS!
Listening to RadioMcCain AM550, I have gleaned that all of the shots were fired at cars traveling westbound on I-10. Now most are driving in the left and HOV lane snuggled up next to a semi on their right.
In my opinion, if our dufus governor would have the state tax agents (DPS) stand down and request the MCSO to find the shooter(s), we would stand a better chance of finding him.
But that ain’t gonna happen.
I wouldn’t be so sure about that. I bet there are plenty of people in Phoenix terrorized about this.
"Coward" would not be my choice of word.
