Yeppers. Esav’s descendants created the ancient Roman Empire and later the Roman Catholic Church which then produced Protestant spin-offs. Later they created atheism and collectivism (producing socialism, communism, marxism, et al) which ended up with a 20 century mass murder of some 200 million people. And that’s not including the unborn.
Now we see Esav’s descendants teaming up with Yishmael’s descendants for one last push to destroy every good thing Yaakov’s descendants have created.

The church you mention is the same that is drunken with the blood of the saints mentioned in Rev.
The Catholic Church started with or close to the fall of Rome.

The Catholic Church incorporated many of the pagan beliefs at the time it started. For over 350 years your church murdered millions of innocent women who refused to bow to the pope. Find The Witches Hammer. Your church also murdered millions of followers of the true faith who refused to resort to idol worship and your Pagan worship practices.
When Rome was falling Ceasar of that time created the church to incorporate Rome into a church. They replaced pagan gods with Saints. Jesus said CONFESS to your father, your church has you confess to a person. Pray to Mary, Jesus said PRAY TO YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER IN SECRET.

I did do my research and that is exactly why I left lies of protestantism and came back to the Pillar and foundation of Truth, The Catholic Church. The One founded by Jesus Christ.
