I’m amazed that some of these reporters didn’t follow a few of these people and record their joyous marriage ceremony too. After all, wouldn’t that be the emotional, tear jerking end to their fairy-tail? I could be wrong but a good number of these people who have “waited so long and been through so much” probably have no intention of being legally bound. As you’ve said, they’re just imposters that want to assert their ill-gotten rights in a public way.

Inevitably over the course of many visits I discovered that was not so. What they were was what once would have been called “spinsters”. Lesbian is just so much “cooler”.
