It would probably seem so to a stoner.

It seems so to me too. Your response bore no relation to my comment.

Is that photoshopped? Because it doesn’t look photoshopped.

First off, no one is getting tested every day.

But if the metabolites remain in the system for three or more weeks, there is no way to tell when the person smoked the joint/bowl/bong hit. What's more, the drug and the effects are still present to some degree, regardless of when it was taken.

By definition, the person is affected while on the clock, while they are driving, shopping, whatever, they may not be as affected as when they initially took the drug, but the person who overdid shots of booze last night, went home and got a couple of hours sleep and drives to work with a .08 or higher BAC is still considered DUI. And yes, there are people (chronic heavy drinkers) who do that.

You would prosecute the alcoholic for driving over the limit, but decry the idea of a limit for pot smokers.

Sorry, but that doesn't make sense.

Nor does it make sense to have people making the sorts of decisions and operating any equipment which might lead to injury or death if they are under the influence of other mood and capability altering drugs.

The pre-hire tests screen for drug usage. Random and post-accident tests do the same.

If the employer can make non-smoking (tobacco) a condition of employment, they sure as Hell can demand their employees show up straight and sober, and have the means to check. If, as an employee, you are doing what you said you would when hired, there is an incredibly small probability that you will test positive.

Otherwise, there are jobs which don't test, which don't pay as well as a rule, but which will be open.

What education about pot will deter anyone? You can tell them that it’ll make them a lazy pizza delivery boy the rest of their lives and they’ll still use.

That’s about the fact of it. The only solution is Singapore’s IMO. We have enough lazy pizza slingers.

I have smoked a lot of the stuff over the years, first with some Midshipmen on a summer cruise to San Francisco, 1967. I don't care for being drunk, and have only a glass or two of red wine daily, and/or a short Johnny Walker Red,on ice.

I never delivered pizza, though I now own a pizzeria here in the Philippines. I also built three Successful businesses in the US, and was a licensed General Contractor in NC. I sold them all and funded my grandchildren educations through a Family Trust.

As for lazy, I have done well enough in this life to create three (that's 3 for those that can't read English) privately funded Foundations. One was chartered in DE, circa 2001, one in WV circa 2003, and one in MS circa 2010. With funds from my endeavors, I have provided the funds to build two schools and a small hospital in Burkina Faso, West Africa.

I love it when I read such drivel from people who have probably never created wealth more than enough to buy a used car!

So what education would have stopped you from using, eh? People are saying increase ‘education’ to decrease usage. Any idea how that would work?

April 20th has become a counterculture holiday , where people gather to celebrate and consume cannabis. Some events have a political nature to them .

Actually, the popularization was made by the Grateful Dead's use of the reference; "Is it 4:20 yet"?

But, according to one source:

..." Quite simply, the birth of 420 occurred at precisely 4:20 in the afternoon to begin a bedroom bong session at the house of Du and Puff on a Saturday in October of 1970. The Bebe along with the brothers began preparing to “bong out”, when Bebe glanced at the clock on the nightstand and said, “It’s 4:20, time for bong loads”. After getting high, they proceeded to do some audio recording with Bebe, as we did frequently, using his assortment of voices, including his impression of Abraham Lincoln, and said as tape was rolling: “4 score and 20 years ago…” -420 Magazine

People are saying increase ‘education’ to decrease usage.

Basically, those people are generally talking our of their "Donkeys"!

I have a degree in Psychology, and also graduated from the School of Hard Knocks. Closed minds are associated with that type. Rigid conformity is required.

My dad was career Navy. I was given the chance to attend Annapolis by an appointment from a Congressman friend of our family. Most of the Middies are straight as an arrow, but the ones who excelled were often the ones who bucked the system while following their paths to history.

YMMV!

Here’s a cookie for all your online bragging. You still dodged my question and then went on and pulled your dick out for a measurement online.

IOW, you’re a big crybaby.

FRiend, you didn't pose a question. You posted an opinion.

Crybaby? What idiocy is that?

Your use of profanity reveals enough to know you're not ready for prime time! You're not a winner now. Try again later!

Did I mention I studied Psychology?

I don’t care if you have a phd in gynecology. But you certainly changed the subject didn’t you. Look at me, I have studied something online.

I asked you first off what education would stop you from using pot. You’re plain lying that I didn’t ask a question of you. You just ignored it.

I asked you first off what education would stop you from using pot.

Do want some cheese with that whine?

You posed a question that I didn't need to answer the way you wish. I see no reason to promote that premise when it is false in it's concept.

I replied to the idea with my own experience to go against the thesis that I shouldn't want to smoke Pot. It was originally in response to the dimwitted idea that all pot users are pizza delivery guys. It has no foundation in truth.

I changed nothing. Yet, you whined!

Yep, you have revealed yourself! You can't even understand a simple concept of life.

Freedom is the chance to make a choice... and simple minds want to control the actions of others.

Have a nice life. I do!

And about tobacco. It is legal to deny employment to someone because they smoke. I will never hire a smoker and will fire them. Did so last year. Nothing discriminatory about this.

No offense, but smoker or not, I'd never work for you.

Education might not dissuade many confirmed smokers, but it could help some once-in-a-whilers and open-to-starters.

The only solution is Singapore’s IMO.

Singapore's solution doesn't seem to work for anyone but Singapore - Iran, Saudi Arabia, and China all have harsh anti-drug policies but still have drug problems.

We have enough lazy pizza slingers.

If it's a proper function to forcibly maintain citizens' productivity, it should also heavily regulate if not ban video games and staying up late.

His answer was clear to functionally literate readers - sorry to hear you're not one.
