Trump would be well-advised to do some of his campaign events w/ tough-talking Wisconsin Sheriff Dave Clarke. Clarke is considered a rock star in conservative circles.

Clarke could be dynamic VP material.

BGRND Milwaukee’s tough-talking Black sheriff, David Clarke, argued that white Americans have “made great strides” in healing race relations, and that sooner or later they’re going to grow tired of having their noses “rubbed in the past sins of sins of slavery.” (Fox News via The Daily Surge)...

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke didn’t pull any punches in his assessment of the Rev. Al Sharpton — who vowed to keep fighting for justice for slain Ferguson teen Michael Brown, despite the feds’ decision to drop a civil rights investigation — and characterized him on national television as less than intelligent and unworthy of respect.

“The grand jury in Ferguson, Missouri, got it right,” Sheriff Clarke said, during an appearance on “Fox & Friends.” “Officer [Darren] Wilson has been exonerated. The thing I want to know is how does he get his reputation back?”

Sheriff Clarke then directed anger at Mr. Sharpton, who spoke sharply in the wake of Attorney General Eric Holder’s decision not to prosecute Mr. Wilson, a former police officer, on civil rights charges.

CLARKE “I don’t expect anything intelligent to come out of the mouth of Al Sharpton,” Sheriff Clarke said, Mediaite reported. “We know he is a charlatan. Al Sharpton ought to go back into the gutter he came from. The police officer is owed a lot from him, Eric Holder and the president of the United States.”

American Airlines Center (in Dallas) holds 18,500 people.

What is the capacity at the campaign events that Jebbie Bush is holding? The last one I saw, it looked like a meeting room at the Hampton Inn.

Those chairs don't look very comfortable for dozing off in!

Sadly Trump came out for the lawless Supreme Count and against religious liberty. He has gone over to the dark side and join the war on Christians being waged my the Marxist left. My Make America Great Again Hats that arrive only a few days ago are now going into the closet for a long long time.

Trump has jumped the shark.

Jeb’s voters aren’t going to his rallies.

They’re Democrats looking to install the softest target in November.

Donald Trump to stage huge September 14 campaign rally in Dallas.

He has been drawing huge crowds to his campaign events.

Fox's Britt Hume said he insulated himself from TV news in Maine for a month---but Trump came on as he fiddled w/ the TV dial.

Jaded journo Britt said he could not tear himself away from the TV---he was mesmerized by Donald speaking.

Has never in his entire career seen anything like Trump.

The next day, in Los Angeles, the day before the CNN debate:

“GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump will deliver an address on national security and veterans’ issues from the USS Iowa, a retired battleship, on Sept. 15.

“Donald Trump is a long-standing supporter of veterans and the military and we are honored that he has chosen our organization and event for his major national security address,” said Joel Arends, chairman of the Veterans for a Strong America (VSA), in a statement on Thursday announcing the event.”

Sadly Trump came out for the lawless Supreme Count and against religious liberty. “ -—————

You forget that this was a law framed inside the Supreme Court, in Justice Kennedy’s mind, for whatever that mind might be worth, in hell. It is quite out of reach from any candidate for president, except for the rhetoric. That’s just the facts.

Don’t count Trump out yet on that issue. Trump is pretty secular thinking, I grant you that, but he catches up fast on these prickly gotcha issues, where either way you fall, you’re damned if you do or if you don’t. He’s no priest, but he is not a fan of Justice Kennedy’s decision either, nor of the Supreme Court activism for making law rather than interpreting it.

Legally, your own hands are tied and so are Trump’s. What are you able to do about it? Nothing, now. It’s a fact of life. We don’t like it. But, this blasphemy has to be overturned where it originated— in the courts. No candidate supported this. No candidate can fix it on the primary trail in the first quarter of an election cycle either.
